How to make yourself a priority?
What are your thoughts after the exercise in the video? We are taught that every person has a space in our life and that there is a priority. We are taught to love, respect, and give space into our day-to-day lives to those who are important to us. We are taught that family comes first, that your spouse comes first, that the needs of others come first.
However, we are not taught that WE are also part of that group of people that deserve our attention and love. We are not taught that we are the ones that matter the most to our lives, that we will be living with our own persona until the end of our time.
Today, I invite you to treat yourself like you have wanted. Have a date with yourself; go to the movies, take yourself to a restaurant, stay at home, take a hot bath, write in your journal, go to an event, listen to your heartbeat. Anything that brings you back to the number #1 spot on your list.
