Hi Debra You have been a great inspiration, and teacher… thank you for all the videos. I have shared the hell out of them to get my friends skating. So, I am going to the rollerCon to feed this good addiction 😆 I never thought I would have a video to suggest or ask for but here it is: I have been trying to do deeps with hanging a foot backwards and come back up but the front wheels back there gets all wobbly and I would love to have your tips to learn how to control better when being on only two front wheels hanging in the back. Skatepark is my jam !! Played Roller Derby in my 20s-30s retire and start street skating and skatepark . I’ve been wanting to do Roller Con for years I’m definitely gonna try to make this happen this yr!!

I bought skates in January 2021 and have only put them on three times... Life got in the way of re-learning to skate (I was at the rink all the time in middle school, you know, in the previous millenium). But, I'm moving to Las Vegas later this year (not before this year's con though), so save some good stuff for Roller 2023! I'll have a lot to learn.

I bought skates x 2 on eBay and have not even begun to learn. I don't even want to mention my actual age cuz people will discourage me. I really like this channel because she teaches you everything. I wish I had the money to donate to her Channel but I'm saving to buy gear. Good luck on your adventure. I never knew how to skate in the first place.

@@starlsdd6278 age should never be a deterrent. People who don’t get why adults like skating will always be stuck in that sorry place. There are skaters of many ages still skating, or learning. I hope you start rolling soon.

@@starlsdd6278 Agree w/S.Snax don't let your age determine what you'd like to do. I bought skates in late 2020 practiced at home then at my local outdoor hockey rink. I'm 56 and encourage others to do it esp if they loved it as a teen like I did. Word of advice if you lived on wheels back in your day...there is no muscle memory in 2022. So start on your carpet. Just standing will be weird, slowly progress to smooth surfaces. I would even suggest skating pushing a stroller/shopping cart around in your garage. DO wear wrist and knee pads at the very least. All elbow pads and helmet if you can. I never lace up without at least wrists and knee pads indoor or outdoors. Good luck and take it slowly.

I'm a figure skater who played the role of a present farmer in an ice show. I want to go to the skate park but A I'm scared B I don't have rollerskates. Had rainbow riders last year but far too small. Maybe I should take care of this problem and Size my feet down Jason Voorhees style.
