I love that story about your dad who would ask the waitress: "We are about to pray for our food, is there any way that we could pray for you?" and leaving a good tip! What a great idea! :)

Reminds me of Romans 12 verses 6 to 8... "We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in agreement with the faith. If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully."

When it comes to sharing your faith with non-believers, here is a tip. Don't, most of us are perfectly fine off without hearing why or how you found your religion and have no intentions joining.

Of course you don’t... I’m sure you have never felt like eating Lasagne until someone introduced it to you. And then you might have realized it tastes amazing and life without Lasagne pretty much sucks 🤷🏽‍♀️

Conservative Christians always talk about sharing their faith; they then try to give rational reasons for what they believe--when non-believers are not convinced the Christian will claim it is all faith or the non-believe is closed to the things of God. Maybe we just don't find your reasons compelling because they are not good to begin with.
