Agree. Toner is unnecessary. I've watched many dermatologists says this. The best thing you can do is Cleanse. Treat. Moisturize. Keep it simple. When I learned that my whole skin changed.

I could be mistaken but I didn't hear you mention retinol or vitamin c. Is Niacinamide the product you rely on for hyperpigmentation and dark spots?

Hi Christina! Vitamin C is a BIG category for me and I didn't include it in the video because I felt that there's so much to talk about with vitamin C and I would have to do it in another video.. I've heard beginners say it was overwhelming and hard to find a good one so an easier brightening and cost effective ingredient would be Niacinimide. I do LOVE to incorporate vitamin C in my skin care and it was actually one of the first ingredients that I used when I started my skin care journey many years ago! One of the first vitamin C products I used was from Peter Thomas Roth (omg it's so expensive though). Did you ever try the Truth Serum by Olehenriksen? I did and I thought it was just ok.. I feel like if I talk about Vitamin C, I would want to cover derivites, L ascorbic acid, how it can oxidize, pH level, stability, collagen, and water vs oil. The retinol I've used is from Dr. Dennis Gross and it was really good!! So much good stuff to cover with these two categories in skin care!

@@lalasgrand3080 thanks. As one of those beginners it is overwhelming. I've researched my brain off. Been incorporating retinol slow. When it comes to Vitamin C I've dabbled a bit with Ole Henrickson c-rush gel creme too frangranced. I've been trying out the YTP Glow Dream Mask at night because of the type of vitamin c. But honestly don't have a clue how best to incorporate i.e. daily/weekly all i want to do is improve the dullness and dark spots. This "30s+ age club" is no joke. Thanks for any help you can provide.
