Good stuff! I use my swim jig in a different way at my place. I need to cast it from the bank quite a ways so, distance is important for me. Now I let it sink and hop, drag but, I mostly snap it off the bottom for reaction bites. This is way more effective than " swimming" my jig. So, I need the distance you can get with a tapered head but, I don't really swim it. I'll use a chatter bait if they are that aggressive. I like the Dirty Jig for one reason, the keeper. The wire keeper holds Elaztech baits much better than the type on Strike King Jigs. My trailer is always a twin tail and, my water color demands a bluegill imitator. I choose the Strike King Rage Menace twin Tail in Moon Juice. The Moon Juice tails perfectly imitate a bluegill's lighter tail. It also imitates a craw when dragged.
