Those were such good sleds back in the day. I ran an srx700 for 3-4 years back in the mid 2000s. Made alot of guys on newer rider forward sleds angry in the trails when they couldnt keep up.

My friends dad had a 97 mountain max with that engine. He ran NOS through it. 30 horse shot. We all ran skidoo xp , cat 800s and he kept up with us. Tough old guy. I ran it a few times and it was a tank lol. That old triple had a sweet sound.

I really love Yamaha snowmobiles, especially the Vrnture 600 from around 1997, Rs viking professional, Rs Venture, snoscoot 200, i want one of those ... Nothing like a " Greasy Tripple " ! Commented a few times inquiring about a CR250R rebuild & if you're interested , cash in hand as well as New internals ....Cyl , piston , rod , bearings etc.....
