The cards are so wonderful and seem to be labour intensive, so it is great to know the multi layering process makes 4 cards at a time. That makes it fun for me. My Christmas cards this year are white on white. Twenty cards each of only two designs, so boring and tedious for you. Thank you for making these cards for us. Definitely something so creative to share with friends and family at a precious time of year. 🤗🇨🇦🤗

Thank you so much Kirrie! Your cards do not sound boring at all, they sound very elegant indeed with a 'white on white' palette, how dreamy! Congrats on being all ready to go!

I just made four birthday cards with distress oxide backgrounds like you did. It’s fun to play with them. I don’t mind getting my fingers inky, but it my nails that take forever to come clean!! Thanks for sharing.

Especially like the colors you've used to create the background. The black splash adds a special touch, especially with the white embossing. tfs-stay well.

I love fun, inky backgrounds very much! This was a wonderful choice! Can't wait for your Storybook Style of coloring! xx ps When you do have a moment - because like me you prefer the Thin foam squares - I'd love to know more about that black foam tape! Thanks! Sorry I missed hanging out with you!

Really nice cards! If you put your foamtape on a sheet of baking paper you can easily cut it into thinner strips! Hugs from Sweden!

Therese, you are hilarious! I missed the live show as I had another commitment, but I loved the video! I love everything you create and you are just a joy to watch. I would love to spend the day with with you, it would be so much fun and I know I would learn so much.

Sooo happy that you enjoyed it and that the replay is there to watch, with the time delay and 'life' it does make it easier. Thank you so very much Carol!

Therese, lovely cards!! & I love how you do 'chapters' !! can you share where you saw Jennifer McGuire cleans up her plates please?

It was only shared in her Facebook group called 'Share Handmade Kindness', but she did mention that she may put it up at KZbin as well. I am not sure if I am allowed to link it here. But if you can't find it please email me at my blog and I will try and link it through there.

here’s a hint for cleaning up messy fingers…if you are working with inks that seem to stain your fingers, wash your hands and then rub the stains with a Mr. Clean white sponge a few swipes and your like new…I thought it might sting a little but it doesn’t and really works!
@lostinpaper3 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for the tip Jan is a 'Mr Clean' like those white magic sponges.... I'll have to google it lol. I do love my 'scrubby' and find that most of the time it cleans the ink, it's under the nails that is the hard part. Thanks so much for joining me and for commenting, you are awesome!
@janmarch50393 жыл бұрын
Yes it is those white sponges…if you can’t get them and want me to send you a package I would be glad to….I don’t think however that it going to work under the fingernails…

I always have a pin at hand for picking the tape apart. I’m not sewing anymore so the pins just sit in my pin cushion

I have used a craft pick but a pin sounds easier, thanks for the tip Beth!
