Jasper, something to think about with Valentina she is a very alert child her brain is going nonstop. I do see my daughter in her behaviour. Her mind needs constant stimulation, so to achieve this play soft music and or have Carina make an audio of her reading a book. It doesn’t matter what it’s about just read it in a low hushed voice. My daughter never slept until I played soft music in her room on a constant basis. Changing the stimulation from visual to hearing can make her settle.

It's okay, everything will be fine. Let's be positive, the weather will improve, the walls will soon dry out. The floor could be covered with cardboard and replaced. Open the boxes and place them on the floor, it helps to absorb water, humidity and replace them with dry ones, when you take them out, place them to dry somewhere outside. It's little, but it helps. Turning on dehumidifiers and fans are important at this time. Everything will be fine. Kisses to Carina and Valentina.

Put a powerful box-type fan in the doorway or window on one side of the room and only open the opposite side of the room to create your draft.

My dad would say that indoor jobs are for the winter. This one, maybe best in the summer 🌞 Well done, anyway.

Don’t forget to place some sockets! If you are going to cement it anyway why not create some nice light points to those beautiful high walls just grind some slots 💡

Need a humidifier to pull the water out of the walls . Some times using a heater or fire drives the damp back in to the wall not out 😊

is it worth considering - stud wall and insulation (rockwool 10cm depth ? or cork materials ) with air gap for free flow behind and then line the room with pladur or cladding on top of stud to make it more cosy - im sure some folks on here will have a good detail and if it breathes will make it good all year round ? all the service can easily be fitted the - sockets etc in gap - there must be a good way of warming it but keeping the breathability - i heard about a cork lime render mix that can be built up to 70mm thick - but trying to find info - something like this - Cork insulation plaster: A dual-function plaster that can be used as insulation and a leveling coat on walls. It's made from natural cork and lime, and can be applied by hand or sprayed on. Diasen Diathonite Thermactive is an example of a cork insulation plaster - maybe it wont work internally? and external better - just thinking out loud

Just noticed you don’t have an opposite window. It will still work. Just not as well. By the way .. this works very well for dusty or sawdust type of work

A lot faster with waterpression, scraping is tiring, making dust...Wish you one or two beautiful windy and sunny days...and everything will be fine..or try a radiator, or the stove to dry faster if you are in a hurry.... Courage !
