Oh Cathy! Gorgeous work! I am fairly new to all of this and told myself “I will skip this next kit” but….after seeing you play…no way, it is not being skipped …I added the dies as I don’t have that much patience. Love this card kit! Simon Says Stamp has out done themselves in the holiday/Christmas card kits this year. I am so excited, so is my mom since she gets most of my Christmas cards to use. The Santa face die from last year's holiday kit would pair well with this kit. Cathy, all your cards blew me away. The pattern building one was so cool. Loved watching that come to life. Cathy, they are all great Christmas cards! I especially like the card you stamped using almost all of the stamps. What an excellent way to use them all without having to color ( even though I love to color when you are making a lot, like for Christmas, you don't have that time)

Loved this. A little tip. I keep some floss threaders on my magnet board to use to thread things . They are so much more flexible and I find it works a little better for most things than a needle threader (but i have that too!)

Interesting what you don’t think to do… ie put bling in groups of 2 -- SO pretty. And LOVE the really pretty red paper: Lipstick Red. Stampin’ Up boast about their gorgeous red (name escapes me but a Xmas colour) but that colour is spectacular!! I’m not a fan of the layering method (again, name escapes me) but very pretty, striking cards ❤.

I like to leave such delicate die cuts in the die and place them on the shadow cut. That way they keep their shape. Plus you don’t get the sticky on your fingers.

Such cute ideas! I love your unboxing videos! I look forward to them every month! I agree with you on the layered scenes, you would definitely get more out of it that way. But, they are really cute put together! I guess since you get 2, you could do both ways. I really love how you framed the snowman scene on card 3. I think adding an outline to the scene might make it pop a little more, but otherwise, it turned out great! OMG Cathy, you are brilliant! That pattern you made on card 5?! Never in a million years would that have crossed my mind! I'm gonna be going through my whole stash to see what I can do that with 😂 Question: Are we going to see a fall themed kit or will it just be Christmas/winter now? I really loved the Cozy Autumn Hugs kit last year

I have two questions please. 1. What is the advantage of using the Teflon bonefolder over others? 2. I have a large and a small Tim Holtz placement tool. What is the advantage of purchasing a Misti? Thank you for your answer and time.

The Teflon bone folder goes over the paper smoother and does not leave a sheen. Sometimes regular bone folders can add a sheen to the finish of the card stock. I cannot even fathom being a card maker without the Misti. It takes all the guesswork out of getting a perfect stamped image, and you can stamp in the exact same place if you don't get it right the first time. There are also a lot of fun techniques you can do with the Misti, as well. You can also use the Misti for stenciling, as it has a great corner to line things up with. It's truly the most game, changing invention, I believe, in the stamp industry!

Hola! So, the kit price at $34.99 is really affordable! All of the items in this kit, purchased separately would be at least $80 or more. But… Simon Says Stamp sends me the kit and this is a paid job I do for them! Which is why I use the Paid Promotion overlay. I work for Simon Says Stamp as a freelance designer. I have my own line of stamp and dies with them. Hope that answers and that this translates.
