For all the hate donut is getting lately, it's refreshing to hear they're standing by Sandro through this.
@littlefreak30003 ай бұрын
I didn't think it was hate. Really just that donut changed direction from what its origins were and it happens so people just wanna do their own thing and go back to their roots. All the people who left seem to have done so without any issues or any kind of harsh feelings.

@@littlefreak3000 They grew up and not in the good way. They started off as the "teenager/young adult" kind of channel of, "Let's just try it and see what happens." Now they've put on a bit of a suit and tie and are clocking into a 9-5 it feels like. Not the direction any of us would have liked it to have gone, but that's kind of what's happened. They've been chained down and domesticated and now all the ideas are coming from money holders who have no idea how to make a successful online channel. I'd argue, kind of, that James left with harsh feelings. Not antagonistic or hostile feelings, but he did admit he was very outspoken against the new managements decisions and wasn't in videos near the end of his time there. If I had to clarify it, I'd say James left with bitter feelings towards the new management and the company that bought out Donut, not at Donut itself; if that makes sense. He takes issue with certain entities and people at and around Donut, not the actual whole sum entity that Donut is within itself.

I have a feeling the painters respected it, not the property owners. No way I would paint over a mural.
@wolfoftheages3 ай бұрын
@schwuzi That's what I was thinking, too. The owners might even be pissed that the painters didn't paint over it, but they're probably having a hard time finding a painter that will. Hopefully, they've got enough suits in their cushy corporate office with just enough brain cells to rub together to realize "hey, if no painter is willing to paint over these, maybe there's a reason and we should reach out to that dude we kicked out." Best case scenarios: 1) The owners are the ones who said don't paint over it and are willing to work with Sandro. 2) The painters respected it, but the owners are gonna let them take it free of charge. 3) Same as the second, except they make them fix the wall or something. 4) The painters respected it, but the owners will let it stay there (in which case, GET A LAWYER AND GET THAT SHIT IN WRITING SANDRO!) No other option is acceptable except for the unlikely case that the owners carefully remove it (as in, separate it from the wall entirely in one piece) themselves to bring to Sandro.
