For anybody out there saying this is the shortest and most bias episode ever. I'm sorry to tell you that you're wrong. Spiderman killed Batman before, if the show was bias they wouldn't have let him lose in ether fight. The shortest of looks at the results of all the fights so far prove that they aren't bias. Sometimes a series gets lucky, sometimes they're unlucky it's a simple as that. Also this isn't the shortest fight at all. The fight went on for about a minute in a half, the shortest fight so far in the series is Chin vs Mai, their fight only lasted 46 seconds.

I'm a little disappointed about this battle, but I'm not surprised. I knew that they wouldn't bring Batman back just to kill him, and their analysis definitely makes sense, but it does exemplify something I find annoying about Batman: he's supposed to be a normal human, and yet he dodges a deity's person-seeking eye lasers. That really defeats the purpose of his character, IMO, to make him accomplish such impossible feats. It's one of the reasons why I love the Spiderman vs Batman Death Battle: it's a realistic portrayal of what would really happen if a powerless human tried fighting a super human. I guess then they went for realism and here they went for accuracy. I still enjoy plenty of Bat-media, btw, I just really wish the comic/cartoon/movie creators wouldn't give him so many damn super powers. For the next battle, I'm rooting for the Gundam, as even though I'm not very familiar with Gundam, I still love a lot of anime, and Gundam is very influential in anime (hell, I even watched a magical girl anime that's inspired by it). -Though I am worried for 2 reasons: 1, both of DB's previous robot battles, as well as their previous giant battle, favored strength over speed, and I know Gundams are really fast and Zords are really strong; 2, Power Rangers have powers outside of their robots, while Gundam pilots typically don't (I think G Gundam is the only exception, but I'm not sure). So, rooting for Zechs, but predicting Tommy.- Someone else calmed my fears about next battle. I'm now really excited to see what a Gundam can do.

About Batman: there are two ways to do it. There is Batgod and Batman. I like both. Grant Morrison does really good Batgod. The idea is that Batgod is in a comicbook; he might pull out a lightsaber with no explanation, etc. It works for the JL, and is entertaining. I prefer Batman.

Kumquatodor I guess I'd prefer it to be consistent. If they want to make him Batgod, then they shouldn't even try to pretend he's normal, and if they want to make him Batman, then they shouldn't have him pull off crazy stuff like escaping a nuclear explosion.

GurrenPrime They do. If you're reading Grant Morrison (where the burial escape comes from), you'll get Batgod. If you're reading Geoff Johns, you'll get Batman. If you're reading Jeff Loeb, you'll get Batmoronicwhimp. It's consistent for the writers. Their runs last for 5+ years.

Sad part is, I like Batman more and wanted him to win, and I feel this battle was rigged. Even their explanation for how Captain America lost was incredibly suggestive. The losing moment was odd too, like why would Captain America throw his shield in the middle of the mist? Knowing Cap's tactics and skills, he'd never do something that stupid.

Looking back on it, Cap is the very first Marvel character Death Battle has used so far that has lost a battle. This at least proves they're not biased towards Marvel. Let's run this down another way. Both of these guys possess identical factors: Batman Captain American Strength < Strength (Cap can lift a full 100 pounds more) Speed Tactics (Batman uses tactics that suit his opponent, Caps' tactics focus on working with a team) Stealth > Stealth (Batman is a predator in the dark, Cap is capable of infiltration but it's not his specialty) Ranged > Ranged (Cap only has his shield for ranged combat; Batman has multiple tools) Tech > Tech (Let's face it; advanced technology IS a factor.) Skill = Skill (A complete draw; both of these men have mastered nearly every fighting style known to man) What's left? Adaptability, and that one goes to Batman, as he can adapt to taking on ANY opponent, changing his tactics to suit them as I said above, while Cap relies on the skills he's mastered to defeat his opponents, rather than change what he uses to suit the battle. A prime example of this is his outright refusal on the recent two Avengers shows to use modern technology over his tried-and-true methods, while Batman develops his own tools and tech to suit every opponent he'll face. If you think back on it, Batman regularly fights two opponents who are comparable to cap; R'as Al Ghul (in terms of skill) and Bane (in terms of strength) so there's a familiarity factor to consider here too.

I love batman, he has been my second favorite superhero most of my life... until the last ~5 years. I am soo tired of batman fanboys making him what he is not. He is human, any human getting hit by Captain Americas shield at any significant speed would at very least be knocked unconscience instantly. In a REAL deathbattle batman would lose instantly 90% of the time to Cap. Before you say I'm just a Cap fanboy, he doesn't even make my top 5.

B. Alexander Batman had the advantage with gear, intelligence, fighting technique and stealth. the only advantage cap had over bats was his physical abilities and the fact he could see faster XD. OK yes if cap hit bats in the back of the head with his shield bats would get KOed but to say Caps would win 90% of the time is just bull. the fact that bats had the advantage in almost every category means he would have the advantage in almost every situation.

Ryan Brown You're logic is rather pathetic. Fighting technique, intelligence, stealth and gadgets don't make you suddenly move at superhuman speeds. They don't give you superhuman constitution. Back of the head???? Try jaw, temple, nose, back of head or anywhere in the head for that matter. The reason I like batman is because he is vulnerable, he's human. For him to beat Captain America truly would be a fantastic feat.

cap is not superhuman he is an enhanced human superhuman speeds is like the flash but yes he is faster and has better reflexives but that dose not guarantee him the win. I mentioned the back of the head because that's where cap hit him with his shield and pliantly of people have taken a hit in the chest with caps shield and got back up and keep on fighting. as for the Fighting technique, intelligence, stealth and gadgets those are the things that allow weaker people to ever outsmart, outmanoeuvre and even overpower someone who is physicality stronger. With technique and gear people in real life have taken out people who are bigger stronger and faster then them. martial artists do it with technique cops do it with gear. and do I do I really have point how being smarter then your opponent can benefit you in a fight as for stealth. you cant hit what you cant see and you cant beat what you cant hit. so my pathetic logic is based of real life not just saying cap is physicality stronger in every way so a weaker opponent would only win about 90% of the time well sorry but strong people lose to weaker opponents all the time especially when they outmatch them in every other category.

Boba Fett I agree that Cap takes the Bat to sleep but I wouldn't necessarily say "Deathstroke kills Cap" their pretty close in most areas with Deathstroke being marginally stronger, packing lethal weapons and wearing armor( previously Promethium now Nth Metal). But all in all their relatively close. But I would have to concur that Slade is more impressive in certain areas and would be mosy difficult for Steve to handle.

This battle for me is just too close to call. Bat vs Cap is really a toss up. One thing I would have to disagree with some other commenters about, is that some say that Cap is a better strategist than Bats. But the fact is, Batman is smarter and is a better strategist, though of course Captain does beat Batman in terms of physical abilities.

They can't say that Captain America can dodge bullets point blank, but then say that Steve wouldn't be able to dodge Batman's pressure point strikes. Also, the logic they had when talking about how Batman said that Cap could beat him was non-sense. Why would both Marvel and DC have Batman say that if Captain America wouldn't be the victor in an actual fight? Captain America if ADEPT to ANY FIGHTING STYLE. that means that whatever strike Batman throws at him, he will adapt and counter every blow. Captain America is roughly equal to DC Slade Wilson who beats Batman in most occasions. Captain Americas heightened senses and reflexes wouldn't allow any of Batman's attacks to land, and his superior stamina would mean that in a prolonged fight Captain America would be the victor, and the power and strength behind everyone of Steve's strikes would wear Bruce down. Also, why would they make Steve helplessly stand still in the back corner of the alley surrounded by thick smoke when he can jump 20-30 feet (which they stated themselves) out of it? All of Batman's special batterangs and bombs wouldn't come into effect either because Captain America can dodge bullets POINT BLANK. They said Batman can throw a batterang at 100mph, but does 100mph travel faster than a bullet? The setting is also IN A FREAKING DARK ALLEY. SERIOUSLY? They literally put Batman in his best enviornment which is a significant advantage for Batman, but what taking into consideration everything i just stated about Captain America, it wouldn't mean a solid win for Batman anyway. static.comicvine.com/uploads/original/11113/111131273/3548165-vpvscap1.jpg That's a scan of Captain America sensing the shift in the air patterns caused by the Black Panthers leap, which would throw Batmans sneak-out-of-no-where-pressurepoint-attack out of the question because Steve would've sensed Batmans air current caused by his leap just in time to react to it. This is also taking into account that the Black Panther has superhuman agility, and is exceptionally faster than Batman.

this is one of the first death battles that i called as soon as i seen who was fighting, but not because of batman losing last time, but because ive read the comics and have seen exactly what they are both like, they are both good leaders but cap is better commanding multiple people strategically but in a fight goes on instinct rather than thinking it all through, batman does fight on instinct as well but he thinks it through a lot more as hes doing it while also utilizing his gadgets to better effect than people would expect, it should have been a much longer fight because these 2 could literally go for days against each other but batmans mastering of all the martial arts and his more diverse weaponry was always going to edge out over the slight strength advantage (1000 pounds to caps), especially since both batman and cap have dodged bullets with ease so neither is particularly faster in reaction time

I mean it was obvious they would have Batman win for two reasons. 1) To please the butthurt Batman fanboys after he lost 2) Why would they go to the trouble of reviving Batman just to have him die again?

Steve Spud I have not found a source that this was first, so maybe I was wrong. HOWEVER: Why would they open this can of worms? This is a huge debate among fans. It's Goku vs Superman all over again. And where was the bias of this? Where did they err?

Do you have use the same clip for each of your videos when announcing the outro? Because you always sound as energetic and cheerful in one as you do in the one before it, but I can't tell if it's because you reuse the clip or you're just really consistent when saying "Cue outro! Go!"

Death battle is ussually release in the Screwattack website, Money Subscribers get to see the fights first maybe 3 days before regulars can see it and gets their voice heard more then regular subscribers. It ussually doesn't come to KZbin unless they get a sponsor of some kind.

Sorry guys, I love Cap and rooted for him to the very end, but I knew from the beginning that once Bats got the shield out of the way, he had every advantage. One was leaped to human perfection in minutes by a drug, the other spent 30 years working to that goal, so he had more experience.

Everyone complains about this one seeming rushed, but I just think its like Pikachu vs Blanka, the one right before Superman vs Goku which takes a ton of research. This is just a filler between the epic Godzilla vs Gamara and the soon to be epic giant robot battle.

***** Man, first off, Batman still alive for no reason. Pretty sure huh? He has been resurrected by Screwattack after a brutal finish off by Spider-Man in one of the past Death Battles. On the second, this pairing made me just suspicious about Death Battle works on a Rock-Paper-Scissors mechanism since Spider-Man killed Batman already, now then Batman killed Captain America, will Captain America kill Spider-Man?

Death Battle, as serious as life, once dead, never gets back to life. In another thing, Batman fought this battle in completely other way, than before against Spider-Man. *After Life* Rule breaked. The entire series could even shut down cause it.

The only problem I have with this Death Battle is the fight. As disappointed as I am that Cap-Am lost, I was more disappointed with how lack-luster the fight was. It was too quick, and there wasn't much tension to it. I still think Batman's overrated, but I guess he earned his victory here. That being said...SUPER ROBOT BATTLE!!!

Dude check out the official captain America library l. Dc and marvel teamed up to put cap and batman in the same comic...batman stopped the fight by proving her was a good guy bc he knew cap was going to win. Look at all of the death battles, they tend to either choose the badguy or the underdog as victors, continuously. So whether on purpose or by accident they completely and utterly overlooked the fact that this fight had already happened in canon.
