To me it felt kinda like a filler battle: like they had it prepared just in case they were running behind schedule on something bigger (like what Batman vs Captain America was). It wasn't bad, but it wasn't up to the standards of this season.

This battle was pretty good and I'm glad that Goliath won this fight even though I was rooting for Beast to win I'm still glad that a 90s character won. But for the next time with Snake I've a pretty good idea on who his opponent's going to be *cough* Sam Fisher from Splinter Cell. *cough* but I can be wrong.

Another awesome reaction and spot-on prediction, Ris. Although, in response to what you complained in the video, one of the reasons why the battle was short compared to others was because the animator had apparently received the assets for the fight later than usual. As Death Battles nowadays are usually scheduled to come out every three weeks, it can be assumed that there wasn't much time to extend the fight. In terms of Batman vs Cap, keep in mind that fight came out during the time Ben's hard drive crashed, and that the episode was planned years in advance in case something would happen that would set back Ben & Chad from releasing regularly scheduled episodes. Since they needed to keep the schedule afloat, the fight itself couldn't be as extensive as say, Batman vs Spidey. Just wanted to get that out the way. Other than that, looking forward to your next reaction, along with who Snake's gonna fight. :)

"Who would do that?!" Xanatos. Xanatos would do that. Dude loves crazy magic shit, and has a seemingly inexhaustible supply of money to do exactly that. Seriously, watch the show, this man will try anything if he's curious enough, bored enough, or just to prove that he can. Or if it involves him and his wife's unique way of playing "chess". Even after he became enemies with the Gargoyles, he offered to let them stay in the castle on HIS skyscraper with no strings attached just because he likes them. One of my favorite villains in fiction that man.

I was quite disappointed in this fight honestly. It just end abruptly and anti-climatically. Snake is going to be interesting, depending on which version of Snake they use and if they count Big Boss's feats as well (since Snake is a clone of him). Snake has a LOT of weapons and gear, ranging from the Bandana that grants infinite ammo, stealth camo that makes him invisible, and all sorts of other things. He is a master of a military martial art The Boss and Big Boss created called CQC, and he is a LOT stronger than he looks (In Peace Walker, Big Boss could catch certain stomp-type attacks from the giant robots). It will be interesting to see who they pit him against..

Yeah I thought it was a little short too but, I can't think of what else they could have done. Personally this was the death battle I was looking forward to the most out of any of them because, when I was a kid my two favorite shows was X Men the Animated Series and Gargoyles so, for what it was I enjoyed it.

Personally, I think this is one of the more weaker Death Battles. Didnt help that there were technical errors throughout the video. Anyone else notice the fact no one said "FIGHT" before the fight began. And I was half expecting Beast to bust out some tech or something to help himself out. The whole project felt rushed. But then again, they can't all be gold gem episodes. Hopefully Solid Snake can deliver. As for his opponent, if they're going for a gun fight, Id love to see him go after the Punisher. If a stealth fight....well I can't think of anyone else to match Snake's abilities atm. As long as the match up is good, I can see myself getting hyped up for this.

This was one of the poorer Death Battles they ever did, imo. These were two great characters to pit against each other, but the animation was basically like the Season One Death Battles, the length was very short, and you have these two intelligent characters who like the read the classics in libraries, but the voice work just had them doing grunts and roars the entire time. Beast and Goliath deserved much better than this.
