Sigh... Bomberman is one my favorite characters in videogame history, so this episode is a rather bitter pill to swallow. Oh well, he did his best and its hard to argue the results honestly. As for next time? Uhh... well, it certainly is a thing! (DEATH BATTLE was experimenting with different types of fights at the time and it resulted in something less then favorable, hence why they never tried to do a fight like it ever again.)

İ really liked this death battle but the only gripe i had with it was the fact that they didn't include the other bomb types like the remote bombs or the skull bombs which could have given bomberman a big advantage

this is the first DB i actually saw, I cheered when Dig Dug won, as he is a childhood fav (to clarify I am currently 17), Dig Dug is such a fun game (I have it on my phone now) I find it far more fun than Bomberman, and would highly recommend you try it before you decide you like Bomberman game more. Also I HOPE you aren't basing your preference to Bomberman on the things they said about Dug being a Psycho, those are just jokes, Dig Dug is an exterminator riding the underground from the pesky Pooka's and Fygar's, While Bomberman is a cop who regularly blows the place he's protecting to smithereens on purpose, and how is that not worse, anyway next fight is Bieber vs Black, it is hilarious.

Honestly, when I first saw this fight, I was kinda rooting for Dig Dug for hte same reason you were rooting for Bomberman; He was the only one I knew. But I kinda laughed at the T2 reference and the end of the fight. I mean, the end of the fight was just WAY too hilarious, what with the cartoon eyes and scream lol. But I knew Dig Dug could do that since I had watched my mom play Dig Dug on a Gameboy Advanced SP for a while.

Yeah, but if it weren't for Lion-O's ability to control cats, He-Man would have used Battle Cat longer. I felt like they excluded Battle Cat because of Lion-O's ability rather than to avoid breaking the rules. (Buuut yeah, I could be wrong. haha)

***** they included battle cat to show that it wouldn't work on Lion-O similar to how they included kryptonite to show how Goku would refuse to use it, as for this match all a Rooey does is increase running speed, allow jumping, and vanish after blocking a deadly blow, so it's really more of a powerup then outside help.

He didn't have time to react. He just got punctured by a harpoon, filled up with 20 psi of air pressure. ( saying that since Dig Dug pumped 2 times, and one pump releases 10 psi, it was 20 psi.) When he recovered from the pump, he saw the bomb, and with all that has happened, forgot he could kick it.
