Despite its popularity, Street Fighter's universe is actually on the weaker side compared to most fighting game franchises. It's flashy, but flashiness does not automatically equal strength.

Eh, there are exceptions ad I do believe that most people view it as weaker than it is. Many people believe it is just legit 'normal' people in street fights. Ignoring clear energy blasts. But outside of Akuma, Bison, Ryu and Ken there are not too many who are very noteworthy in the context of a Death Battle. And I like to imagine street fighter having rather clear 'leagues' of fighters. The highest is Akuma and Bison, just beneath them are Ryu and Ken. Just beneath them are characters like Chun-Li, Balrog, Sagat ectuntil finally you get down to characters like Sakura and Dan. I love street fighter just for their sheer variety in character concepts and minimal pallet swaps. The series has a lot of personality and a fighter for anyone and I honestly believe Capcom just makes the best fighting games in general game play wise. Its all good though, even if their win/loss record in Death Battle is lacking, we can always enjoy their great crossover fighting game series.

adam bump there in couple places throughout in both franchises that where could have die permanently for example Jason went to hell but it thanks to Freddy Kruger that he was able escape and in the Freddy vs Jason vs ash 2 comic Freddy successful killed Jason with power of necronomicon and his own power and complete destruction of Jason physical body. Michael Myers is a bit tricker due Halloween tending to retcon a lot of franchises depending on the movie and him in Halloween 4 and 5 it show Michael surviving a firing squad but 5th film it should him running away why, in h20 Michael Myers's sister cut off what she thought was his head but it wasn't it was a guy that Michael crushed his vocal cords and dress him like him why because Michael Myers if his head is cut off he dies permanently so came with idea to disguise another so that he wouldn't die and in certain monster lore cropping the head can kill certain creatures permanently.

If you are still wondering about that street fighter movie, If you go into watching it while expecting a good amount of martial arts fighting sequences like a hong kong cinema because it's based on a fighting game then you're gonna be disappointed. The live action Ken footage is from Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist. I loved it, however I am a huge SF fan, so I don't know how a non fan or casual fan would like it. I think it's at least worth a watch nonetheless and its a mini series, so you can take breaks while watching it.

Heard that Amy is fighting the chick from Scott Pilgrim, kind of dissapointed its not Harley Quinn. It was not a better I ever considered but seeing all the comments about it on the actual video actually made me like it, Harley's main weapon is an oversized hammer and she is most known for chasing after and being infatuated with a guy, much like Amy so there are a few connections there and apparently she has super strength? Didn't know that but guess that'd put her more on Amy's level who I am assuming is more powerful than she seems considering Tails is a child who can hover for a short time yet he can go to the speed of sound and break metal with his tail so I am just going to assume Sonic characters will have ridiculous feats that set them apart from normal human characters. Oh well, could learn something about the person she is actually fighting, and that leaves the possibility of Harley fighting Typhoid Mary, a Daredevil villain who's also pretty batshit insane though not sure how often she is used and I don't think she has any media use outside comics so they wouldn't have much to pull for her.

While you could claim them to be reviews, showing the entire thing like that typically wouldn't hold up in court, for example. (Not to mention that Pokemon, you know, has a *huge* powerhouse of a company behind it, where even if you were in the right they could hire the best lawyers to "prove" that you were wrong.)

WilliamT S she's taken on and defeated Knives twice, is strong enough to swing a gigantic hammer around relatively easily, took on a ninja, was able to survive being cut and stabbed by the most powerful sword in the books, and with Scott's help she was able to take down Gideon.

WilliamT S true but if Romona can get Amy into subspace I'm pretty sure she'll have an advantage. But other than that if they do use feats from the comics and X she'll win. But as shown multiple times in the comics and X she's defenseless without her hammer while Romona was again able to take on Knives in hand to hand twice and she does have other weapons to fall back on. If Romona can get Amy into Subspace and take away her hammer, she'll win although Amy won't go down easily considering she's taken on REALLY tough foes like Metal Sonic, the Metarix, Rouge, Blaze, Fiona, Shadow, Mecha Sally, ect.

And my opinion on Amy vs. Ramona is if Amy gives into her temper and loses control of it she's royally screwed cause Ramona has shown to be a cunning fighter case in point look at her fight with Roxie meaning there's a high probability of Ramona exploiting Amy's anger issues to her advantage.

KOF is not a spin off...its an amalgam of many SNK fighting games. every game in SNK is set in the same Universe...KOF is basically the heart of that universe (all be it in different places and/ or time periods)...Fatal Fury is one of its branches, Art of Fighting is another branch, Princess Athena is another branch, Buriki One is another, Samurai Shodown is another...the list goes on and on. KOF is also a web TV series now. this is why KOF probably has the largest number of characters in gaming history...

So Amy's fighting against Ramona Flowers from Scott Pilgrim... fine then. I am not curious to see how this battle will turn out. If Amy loses, there will be a massive shitstorm, probably even bigger than on previous Sonic franchise losses. If Amy wins, Sonic fanbrats will claim her to be unbeatable... it's a lose-lose situation. I'd much rather have Duke Nukem vs Serious Sam or The Punisher vs Max Payne Death Battle... but I don't think Screwattack is listening to us too much.

i wanna let you know terry originated in fatal fury hes not from king of fighters its just that the story of the game and movies (there are 3 movies of fatal fury) take place in the KOF (king of fighters) tournament and how it started eventually king of fighters became its own game terry apearded in every one of them and is in the newest king of fighters XIV and gotten more popular than SNK Playmore expected it to in china and japan (SNK is clearly not as big as they should be here in the US since they made a bunch of crossovers with capcom released here in this country) and their rivalr between ken and terry is real too since capcom vs snk came out and ended this who;e thing in like 2006 or 7 i believe and since you have watch chun li vs mai the same goes for them as well and mai shiranui also originates from fatal fury (the second game) if youre interested in the games you can download emulators and the rome of the games and try them out for yourself)

King of Fighters is completely ridiculous, and is a conglomeration of multiple fighting game franchises that are owned by SNK. Gods and demons are regular antagonists- it's more "anime" than Street Fighter has ever been. There are similarities between characters, but KoF has everybody a cut or two above SF/

Of course he was gonna win! Shao kahn fought M Bison who was defeated by Akuma multiple times! Shao Khan's 2nd in command fought Akuma! So the main villain fights the other main villain's second in command so of course if someone's second in command can fight a person, the person can beat his second in command obviously! It should have been Shao Khan vs Akuma!
