I've never seen either show from next battle but I enjoyed it. How Gouken survived, by the way, wasn't just "power of nothingness". He specifically used it to put himself in essentially stasis with no discernible life signs. Good thing they didn't have him embalmed!

Brilliant video once again Dean. More so for your outro talk rather than the reaction as I always love listening to your thoughts instead of your reaction over said video like some others come to watch for. You are also correct, something that you haven't seen before or know of (Jin for example) verse something you do know but have no interest in (Ryu respectively) isn't going to make you automatically want to see it or get excited to see. That's something most people don't understand when it comes to debates and reactions to certain theoretical fights, not everyone is invested. That being said, it doesn't mean that you won't be entertained or enjoy said battle. And seeing how you smiled each time something cool was shown made it apparent. Anyway, don't feel bad about this DB. Many people have felt that Screwattack didn't give Jin his proper dues here. I personally don't care since neither character I find are entertaining or characters I want to learn about, but I can see what they mean. As for the next battle, you shouldn't need to be worried that you'll offend people for saying you know nothing about each character. Granted both Samurai Jack and Afro Samurai have gigantic fanbases who will inevitably pick on you if you favour one over the other, but that's the same for everything in life. No need to change what you think, feel, believe or whatever for the sake of others. In the end, you are the one reacting to these battles and your honest, unbiased opinion and thoughts are why we (or I) watch you. So screw the people who get mad, they aren't you ^^ Anyway, keep up the great work man. All the best.

Dean, I have a spoiler-free warning regarding an upcoming death battle, as a longtime viewer of your Let's Watch videos, I hope you consider my words. In the DB following the teased one in this video, it's going to feature an anime character. This anime is like none you've seen before, and you've seen Berserk. Now I know gore itself isn't anything new to this series on your channel, (it's the freaking name of the show, lol) however this anime takes it to disturbing levels. Also this anime does more adult themes than just gore, and isn't apologetic or subtle with these other themes either. Now Screw Attack DID do a good job censoring, but I know your general audience is probably younger than Screw Attack's, so I thought I'd give you this heads up over the analysis potion where they show scenes from the anime. Its really so nice to see you back on KZbin so far. I wanna add some correct info on Jin that Screwattack may have mislead you and anyone else on. Of course Jin didnt interrogate Ogre, because one, Orge cant talk. Two Jin literally saw the head of his mom being Held by Ogre, so theres no need to interrogate him about his mother other than why he killed Jun, but that would be pointless information. Plus ScrewAttack was wrong to include non-canon feats and info, when they were going to point out they were non-canon which tricked people into thinking certain things. Also karate isnt exactly known for being the most powerful fighting style other than breaking boards and stones, which is why Balrog VS TJ Combo had heavy hits in their death battle, just to let you know. EDIT: Jin saw a woman's head being held by Ogre whom he mistaken for his mother. Jun is actually supposedly missing, and according to the Tekken 5 spin off, Devil Within, Jun is still alive somewhere. I doubt this is canon to the lore in Tekken.

SA always take non-canon stuff into account unless it contradicts series lore. As Jin's control over the form contradicted series lore, it wasn't counted. They directly stated that in the episode just because they know if they didn't, all anyone would say in the comments is "JIN HAS FULL CONTROL OVER DEVIL FORM WATCH THE MOVIE."

Yet the people who commented that dont seem to understand, it doesnt have any connection with the games whatsoever. The only game it connected to was Tekken 3D Prime Edition. And that game was non canon. People also like to say Jin has full control of the Devil Gene in the end of Tekken 7. I have ALL subsequent Tekken games and nowhere in Tekken 7 does it state that "Jin now can control the Devil"

Yea not one of the best deathbattles but also not the worst, the fighting may have been slow but that's because that's Jin and ryu's fighting style, unless they pull off a combo in which case for Jin especially he speeds up with the attacks, there wasn't any reason give for the fight but again it's like the games, you see someone now your fighting them. Finally some nitpicking which is A I didn't like the song they used was just cringe the first time I heard it and also the second place the fight takes in is literally a location in rosterteeths RWBY with the same falling rubble
