So, incase you missed it, They made a huge mistake in this death battle that Ben even acknowledged. They accidentally calculated 18's speed wrong. She should be a LOT faster than they said. It doesn't exactly changed the result, but it's still a thing. It should be a pinned comment on the episode's youtube page.

Actually, it wouldn't have affected the result. Regardless of the speed, the fight would be exactly the same. They're not going to make a fight shorted because someone is faster. Entertainment is the main objective.

And they gave an explaination for energy absorbtion in Death Battle Cast too. in bens words "In the original manga, Gero never says that 17 and 18 can't absorb energy. He says they are "infinite energy models" and that 19 and Gero are energy absorption models" That is the robot model name and does not mean they are incapable of absorbing energy." Hence, the fact they can do this in the games does NOT go against canon.

Except 1.) The Daizenshuu states that absortion models only advantage over the Eternal energy models is that they can absorb energy 2.) If 17 and 18 could absorb energy they would have obviously attempted to do so in the series (when 17 got hellzone grenaded is the prime example)

But he does need his healing factor to maintain his anger levels. They said so in Hulk vs. Doomsday. Overtaxing the healing factor can weaken him since less anger means less power.

Justin Croxton everyone highballs dbz characters. Goku recently struggled against an opponent that only went to lightspeed. Even Zeno, who BEERUS is afraid of, could not keep with them. Vegeta could not lift 10,000 tons in his fight against maggeta. I care not about screw attack's lowballs, as everyone us hypes up characters way too much.

You should watch through DBZ Abridged. I know you said you had watched it a while ago (you recognized Vegeta's voice in Death Battle as being from it), but you seemed to imply that you hadn't watched it in a long time. A watch through would be great! Though if you want to learn about canon from it, keep in mind that basically everything they say about Popo is made up (he's a genie and that's about it). Otherwise they're surprisingly close.

First, Carol Danvers should have been given access to the Time Stone since she has been seen using it in Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite teaser trailer. Second, the infinity stones are consider singularities based off the explanation of the MCU Collector. Third, the energy from the stones can be drained based of what Arsenal did in Avengers Assemble. Fourth, Carol can use the Time Stone's power to completely freeze 18 in time removing her speed. This was shown possible when Hit was able to completely freeze time on both Goku and Vegeta. Fifth, Carol can absorb enough of the Time Stone's energy to go full-on Binary, but save enough to continue to have the power over time. She only needed 81% of a White Hole's energy to go full-on Binary. Lastly, 18 still frozen in time, Carol unleashes every single last drop of Binary's energy into a planet(s) busting attack onto 18. Time unfreezes and 18 is hit by the force of that attack in an instant giving her no time to make the decision to absorb the energy. 18 is obliterated.

If we want to put her at Android 17 (which she is relative to), Android 17 is currently able to go toe to toe with characters that have LITERALLY shaken the universe when they exchange blows.

xixFreedomManxix ScrewAttack include everything since they chose characters from everywhere. It has never been shown in the anime or manga or anywhere else that she can tank Star level attacks. Alternate 18 was destroyed by an energy wave, Super Android 13 was destroyed by an energy sphere and Super Android 17 was destroyed by a punch. Also, Goku ALWAYS matches his power to his opponent, like when he fought Vegeta in the Buu Arc; so, her or her brother "fighting" Goku does not count since there are too many inconsistencies. In addition, what does star level really mean? Just because a character has "star level power" does not mean they have star level durability. Example, Cooler and Baby. Even though the material says that 18 has gotten stronger that does not mean more durable. Remember a percentage of 18 will always be cybernetic. So, unless Bulma decided to upgrade her, 18 can only improve the organic part of herself leaving a portion of herself out-of-date. But, my point is that defense, in the Dragon Ball franchise, requires the use of Ki. With the Time Stone, Carol Danvers could have frozen 18 in time, making her unaware of whats going on or whether or not she needs to use Ki to put up a defense against an attack. Since Captain Marvel is strong enough, in star level+ Binary form, to destroy a planet, destroying an defenseless 18 should be no problem.

xixFreedomManxix are you ignoring the fact that I basically said it does not take the power of a star to destroy any of Dr. Gero's androids, which Carol Danvers can reach and the Time Stone removes 18's speed advantage over Carol. Also, I used defenseless in the context that 18 would be defenseless against the Time Stone like Goku and Vegeta was defenseless against Hit's time stopping ability. Dr. Gero had no experience dealing with time-based abilities, so he had no reason to add time-based counters to his androids, including 17 and 18.

They say they use every official information, but they didn't use the fact that Carol had access to the Time Stone based off the Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite teaser trailer. They didn't even include Carol's healing factor, but they did include 18's energy absorption ability in her game which is as close to contradictory as you can get. They, also, use game trailers as a source when they used it to determine Scout's durability. They purposely prevented Carol from reaching her maximum potential because they gave the Power Stone to Mega Man in DBX. I don't care who is the winner as long as the information is sound, but this one had left out so much crucial information that you have to question their motivation behind this match-up.

She is easily a planet buster but she cares too much about the earth to outright destroy it like most characters in DBZ. Though this battle was set up from the beginning with both being nerfed hard.

MediaMarvel Android 13 was never cannon but hey even that word has lost its meaning in death battle, also yes 18 isn't show to handle certain situations all that well but she does take no based attacks well enough. DBS is evidence enough of that hell 17 who was supposed to be weaker than her can fight toe to toe with blue goku. 18 can't absorb energy period. They treat every thing as evidence without thinking logically as the absorbing grab is a gameplay mechanic rather than an accurate description of her ability. Sorry for the run on paragraph.

I admit, I was kind of unconvinced of Android 18's ability to absorb energy via projectiles. But since that's deemed canon (for the fight), Captain Marvel definitely didn't have a chance. Furthermore, since Captain Marvel is still a human albeit a superhuman one, she can still get tired while 18 has infinite energy due to her engine. In DBZ, Android 17 boasted how his engine supplied him infinite energy while Piccolo would gradually get worn out. Also, your reaction to being right and maintaining your win streak was pretty funny. I've never used her in Dragonball Xenoverse, but from the footage they show, it seems to only be a contact thing, not sucking up from a distance. The problem here is the manga (comic) states that she can't do this but Screwattack still put it up and tried to defend their claim. They said that 18 not being able to do it wasn't directly stated or hinted at however it was in fact stated by Trunks that 17 and 18 couldn't absorb energy, instead they had an infinite energy supply. I agree with you with 18 being able to take Captain Marvel without that ability.

The Marvel universe has some of the hardest hitters in all of fiction. The one above all - Eternity - Living Tribunal - Beyonder and even the Phoenix force. Dragon ball's got nothing on The one above all.

foxhounde True, the Dragon Ball universe doesn't have any true omnipotent characters (Zeno is questionable), but characters like freiza have been planet, and star level since their introduction. First form freiza destroyed a planet with 10x gravity as earth with complete ease, and is over 120x that in his final form. Android 18 is at least able to destory stars, and could probably destroy our solar system with relative easy. EDIT: These are factual statements confirmed by the anime/manga, and Android 18 is confirmed greater than freiza.

not all screw attack death battle is honest they screw cloud from final fantasy making link win remember they didn't include the summon. and i know the butt hurt link fan boys going to say yeah right link is strong in every ways even when link use that majura mask or not screw attack knows that majura mask is not strong as final fantasy summon that's way they didn't include both link majura mask and final fantasy summon i understand link fans loved playing Zelda they loved the game but you have to be open minded and be honest with them selfs. poor little cry baby link fans kids. screw attack is a bunch of link fan boys of course its not fair

18 is "possibly" planet level? First-Form Frieza effortlessly destroyed Planet Vegeta (Which had 10x Earth's gravity) with his finger, and Frieza's Final Form was 240x his First Form's power. Even in an improved mechanical body Frieza was jobed by Trunks who got his ass bodied by 18. 18 should at minimum be more than 1,000x planet level (both offensively and defensively) Furthermore when you look at COMBAT speed rather that TRAVEL speed Goku passes light speed at the very latest by the Saiyan Saga, and even saying Goku hit it just when he arrived on Namek would leave Goku more than 1,600x slower than his SSJ1 form during the Frieza fight, meaning 18 should be well above 1,600x light speed.18 also can't absorb energy, that was 19/20's gimmick. As for Metal Sonic vs Zero, unless Zero has speed feats putting him several thousand times the speed of light or Death Battle lies their way to underpowering Metal it is going to be a short fight. Metal Sonic is a copy of Sonic who in the comics made and threw a ball of water which hit a badnik in the span of 0.00000000000001 milliseconds, which puts Sonic and anyone who can match his speed (like Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, and Metal) so fast even the fastest version of The Flash would be jealous. However I suspect this is another rigged fight where they are going to deliberately underpower a Sonic character so that Nintendo (or in this case Capcom) can beat them (They scrounged through every little thing they could to dismiss everything they could for Knuckles while getting any little thing they could spin to boost DK).

I find it funny anymore how DB severely lowballs DBZ. 18 CANNOT absorb energy, only 19 and 20 could. And they're the inferior models. 18 is far faster than what they say, and incredibly stronger than what they say. "possibly the planet" seriously guys? they've been planet busters since the Saiyan Saga. 18 is easily dwarf star level. Go to seththeprogrammer's channel, he's explained and debunked Goku v Superman (both vids) Buu v Kirby, and Gara v Toph all with proper power scaling. DB has gotten the scaling wrong since day one, lowballing all of DBZ. and in my opinion it's just to get views.
