I love the easy calming background music while you are explaining at the end. My vote was for WonderWoman, though I wish they showed more of her God of War powers. The also failed to point out that electricity may be somewhat of a weakness to WW since she has been shown getting electrified a lot before, even losing to Storm during a Marvel/DC crossover comic after Storm hit her with several lightning bolt - though that match was based on fan voting. My money is on Ichigo for the next match.

senpai sama naruto's speed by the end of the war was faster then the instant speed of the yellow flash and his body can be healed by kurama in 9 tailed sage mode his body is harder then steel and his chakra moves by kurama's will not just naruto's making it more unpredictable Ichigo is basically fighting the perfect team something he doesn't have with his two inner personalities the only way Ichigo has a chance is in his final getsuga form which only lasts a few seconds then his power is gone permanently

This was underwhelming first the positives the animation and fight choreograph was top notch in this fight and next fight is definitely one people have been wanting naruto vs Ichigo. However the research is very one sided Thor is underpowered in the fight and they miscalculated many of Thor's abilities like the Midgard serpent feat they give the actual weight of the serpent in the comics and it is as heavy as the earth it self, which helps changes the fight not only that but also they didn't use many Thor's other abilities, and mjolnir can atomized objects, not sure which better is cutting through atoms or atomized anything? I want Wonder Woman to win but not if it means under powering a character and miscalculating a character's abilities so she can win, I want it to be fair battle where both characters are their best and done right. Also disappointed that we didn't get any horror characters for the next match, oh well maybe next time, but I hope they do the research portion better in next episode or it will be even more disappointing. Sorry if I came as rude or offended someone but it is how I honestly feel about this episode.

Many people don't trust Death Battle at this point. Be it intentional or not, a lot of their fights are massively misinformed. I was forgiving of this for season one, but since the Gaara Vs Toph fight, I take everything they say with a grain of salt. It's still a good show to watch for cool fights, just not accurate ones.

After Thor fought DC's Captain Marvel (now known as Shazam) Mjolnir fell near Diana who had to fight Storm. Diana briefly wielded the hammer, and then gave it up because she didn't think it would be a fair fight if she was using the additional powers.

Their last fight involving a Naruto character was massively underresearched and that was with a character who was only in the series for about a fifth of it. Kind of hard for anyone to believe they'll do a decent job with the main character of the series.

ahed jehad Eh... no, they left out a ton with Gaara. Gaara is trained as a basic ninja, meaning his natural human abilities, like his speed, are far greater than that of an average human. Gaara's sand can only be controlled by infusing chakra into it, but Death Battle said Toph, who doesn't know any chakra techniques like Aang does, could manipulate his sand. Gaara knows windstyle. Gaara knows body flicker. Gaara knows substitution. Gaara is a tactical genius. Gaara's sand burial is capable of crushing metal and even if it couldn't, his hold is so strong he can keep a metal armored Person from moving completely, the thing Toph needs to do in order to bend. And even some of the things Death Battle did put into the pre-analysys, they left out of the post-analysis for the fight. Gaara never uses his body control ability, despite landing numerous hits on Toph. The speed of which Gaara's sand moves is so fast, it can intercept the Raikage, one of the fastest ninja in the Naruto canon, but they say Toph is fast enough to deal with it because she once "sensed dust" coming her way. Gaara's chakra pool is so massive, he was mistaken for a being made out of chakra, but Death Battle said he was easily worn down. There's a ton more, but I think I've made enough points to demonstrate that his abilities were super nerfed during that fight. Naruto, the actual protagonist of the show whose total number of transformation rivals Goku's and is potentially even more powerful than Gaara, could just as easily suffer the same fate.

That's a rather...general attitude to take about two companies that have been around for decades and have had hundreds of writers on dozens of lines. There have been deep engaging stories, spectacle based smashfests and utter dross from both companies. I would say the very best comics I've read were DC, although admittedly not their mainstream superhero stuff. Alan Moore's Saga Of The Swamp Thing, Neil Gaiman's Sandman and Mike Carey's Lucifer for me outclass anything I've ever read from Marvel. But overall I'd say the companies even out. Unless you meant the movies. You have a better point there (Dark Knight Trilogy aside).

I loved the fight but I can’t agree with the outcome for a number of reasons For one, they downplayed Thor’s strength A LOT. His greatest feat of strength was performed when in an arm wrestling match against Hercules, they accidentally knocked the earth out of orbit. That’s already 1/2 vs WW’s 1/3. But he wasn’t even using Megingjord(x2) or Warrior’s Madness(x10) so he should be able to push 10 earths with a single arm. By accident. Way more than WW is capable of They also limited Thor’s arsenal. He has two piercing weapons, Jarnbjorn and the Odinsword, both of which are superior to atom-slicing swords(one can pierce Celestial armor and the other can slice through dimensions). They left out his most powerful attack, the Godblast(which can defeat a hungry Galactus), his ability to negate magic, his force fields, and various other abilities. There were so many more factors in the fight than strength and speed For three, Thor is a faster combatant than he is usually given credit for. He speed blitzed the Silver Surfer, a being that warps time and casually cruises at FTL speeds(hmmm sound familiar?), Heimdall, who supposedly sees everything, and various other combatants

The battle is with their normal arsenal and just then alone.Not with the help of a planet or weaponry they do not commonly use. Its on the same lines as giving ww her creation suit or gauntlets of atlas. Doesnt make sense to the fight Also knocking a planet outta orbit is no where near the same force as actually pulling a planet. It not even comparable. him being in warrior madness would be a extreme disadvantage. It actually would lose him the fight quickly. Silver suffer has a notoriously slow combat speed.(relative to most fast characters) reason being that he uses hyperspace to even utilize his travel speed. Suffer has next to no combat speed feats. Like at all. Thor is not a fast character.(this shows when he misses characters like mongoose and wolverine in fights) Marvel in self isnt very fast. Even characters like quicksilver or suffer are not as dynamic as speedsters from dc are. Marvel doesnt emphasize speed.

+Project OmegaPedro The strongest version of Thor would probably be Odinforce Thor, a nigh-omnipotent reality warper that can break Captain America's shield with a glance. The bumbling buffoon of a warrior Screwattack presented here isn't even normal Thor, at best, it's movie Thor. Normal Thor can lift 20+ planets, punch blackholes into existence, and tank multi-galaxy level explosions with his forcefield. He's also a master tactician and master of magic capable of removing Juggernaut's enchantments. Normal Thor is a complete and utter beast and should never have lost this fight.

I love this episode and reaction I knew Wonder Woman was faster but I didn't know she was that much faster I was happy to be proven wrong for once you have now been right 2 more times than me. I am looking forward to 2 of my favorite characters ever next time!

It's a shame, I like you and like your videos but this specific Death Battle bugs me, in the same way as Cap vs Bats and Tracer vs Scout where it seemed like intentionally or unintentionally, they didn't do a good job researching a specific character so the whole episode feels wrong, I don't want to watch it again yet even with Ris providing commentary. Like, I've seen and heard of two planet moving feats for Thor so he should be SA's strong or stronger than WW, they also kept comparing him to Quicksilver when Silver Surfer, Sentry and Hyperion are people he's fought with who are WAY faster so by comparison alone Thor should be deemed faster than he was not to mention I've seen some comparative feats that make it seem like Wolverines claws are stronger than atom cutting weapons and yet Thor could handle Wolverines claws so by that logic WW sword shouldn't be a game changer. It just feels too off and it just bugs me watching it.

robot6644 He was able to cut Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet where in more recent history a minion of Thanos had a Spear that can cut atoms and Thanos blocked it with his hands. Thanos with IG stabbed by Wolverine vs normal Thanos blocking atom cutting spear, I think that shows Wolverines claws are better, especially since that same minion was shown giving Hulk trouble in the scans that showed this comparison.

This death battle: while I like the idea of this match up since they have so much in common. I'm still a fan of thor more compare to WW because I've been a marvel fan longer I do agree that WW would win but I feel like they underplay/nerf thor a bit. Animation was great, voice acting was okay, music/sound were good, the analysis was informative, and broomstick is still funny. Next time: I see this being requested alot. While I am more of a comic book fan than to anime/manga fan I do have friends who are crazy about anime (especially naruto) so I am aware of their crazy feats and transformations but I only seen the first 3 seasons of bleach and all of kid naruto but I haven't seen shippuden so there are things I'm unfamiliar with. I still don't like this match up because the only thing I see that they have in common is that they're both popular anime protagonist. Honestly I would of prefer naruto vs luffy (one piece) so we can have a ninja vs pirate battle and Ichigo kurosaki vs sasuke uchiha (naruto) because they're both edgelords with a hint of evil in both of them and they both uses swords but that's just me. I'm probably going to bet my (fake) money on Ichigo only because if I remember in naruto they have rules on how chakura work and how it has limits meanwhile in bleach people just teleports behind opponents almost every since time like water is wet lol. But if I'm wrong I'm wrong I'll enjoy either way

Naruto has something called Senjutsu using Sage Mode which boosts all phis physical attributes and well he can bust a mountain range after mastering the power of the tailed beast. Honestly currently Luffy couldn't really have a chance of beating Naruto, that's why they went with Ichigo because Naruto & Ichigo both pulled off something ridiculous.

This death battle was complete and utter bullshit. They did not attribute Thor's greatest feats to him and they did not give him all of his special powers. Thors abilities that Screw Attack omitted: Antiforce Matter Manipulation Invisibility Intangibility Negation of mystical energies Godblast The godblast is Thor's strongest attack, easily capable of killing immortals. Regarding Thor's speed, Screw Attack said 350 trillion miles per hoiur as his speed based upon mjolnir'reaching the edge of the galaxy' in 60 seconds. From earth, the closest edge of the Galaxy is 441 Quadrillion miles away, and the comic does not say what edge it was, so it could have been far further. Also, they left off the fact that it was 60 seconds to get there and then back to earth again, resulting in a minimum distance of 882 quadrillion miles. Screw Attacks Speed : 350,000,000,000,000 miles per hour 500,000 times the speed of light Actual Speed based on the feat of speed they selected, which isn't even his greatest feat of speed. 52,920,000,000,000,000,000 miles per hour This is nearly 79 billion times the speed of light. Thors greatest feat of speed is actually racing and beating the silver surfer, who can cross the entire span of the universe if he so desires in nearly an instant. Feat or Strength : Screw attack estimated his strength very poorly as well, nut using his greatest feats either. I have two examples. Once he lifted the weight of twenty planets with one arm, a low ball estimate made by Thor Talk is 132 Sextillion tons An even better feat that Thor Talkdid not mention was when he stopped the world engine with brute strength. This does not take into account acceleration, deceleration, stopping, accelerating again, and decelerating again when he catches it. 350,000,000,000,000 miles per hour vs 52,920,000,000,000,000,000 miles per hour That is a huge difference in the math that screw attack did And my numbers are low balled, assuming that Thor threw to the closest edge of the universe, he also could have thrown to the farthest edge, and mjolnir might have passed close to a black hole where time is stretch, and for all we know might hive lost 30 of 40 seconds due to the black holes gravitational pull. Even if we low ball it, as I explained, he is still much faster then anything wonder Woman has ever done.

To add on how bad the speed feat for Wonderwoman was, the comic never mentions the speed of the particles, there's no damage to the surroundings that would imply particles zooming around at light speed, and Wonderwoman talks a lot while blocking the particles. This implies that the particles were "summoned"(the word the ancient God used) through teleportation, and weren't physically travelling at light speeds from all corners of the universe.

they did give good reason. she's faster and stronger than any version of thor death battle by their rules are allowed to use. rune king or chaos war thor would most definitely annihilate wonder woman but thor had to do some ridiculously out of the way things to achieve those forms. rune king thor impaled himself dead after scooping out both eyes. chaos war thor effectively tapped into the power of GOD.
