One thing I immediately thought when Death Battle brought in Metal Sonic: "If Eggman were to win, it would be because of Metal Sonic. If Metal Sonic were to be destroyed or turned evil, EGGMAN WOULD NOT WIN." And as soon as I saw the pill (which actually was using the sprite for the CURE to the Roboenza virus), I knew Eggman had lost. Also, Ris, Metal Sonic may have been created by Eggman, but it has been proven that Metal actually doen't give a **censored** about Eggman. In Sonic Heroes, it is assumed that the antagonist of the game is Dr. Eggman, but in actuality, it was Metal Sonic, who had actually held Eggman captive before the game, and in the last story, he fuses with the Egg Fleet to become Metal Madness, and later, the Metal Overlord. The Roboenza virus simply assisted Metal's rebellious "nature" and freed the 'bot from Eggman's control.

After hearing that you read all the comments I feel like I should say this. You are amazing, there are so many youtube gamers that just yell, scream, cuss, and are just bad influences on children. You're different, you are so nice, you take fans into consideration, and you are just so childish and fun. You really get my sense of humor, but you do it better because if I would do this I don't think I could do it without dropping a swear word. You also do original stuff, you're the only person I've seen who does these "Let's Watch" things, and I love them. You are really cool and I'm glad I started watching your videos. If I can give my 2 cents, I have to say that I think watching the Death Battles Chronologically would be pretty good. I've personally found that watching it that way got me to appreciate the evolution of the series. However, at the end of the day, just do whatever you think works best for you.

So i cam back to watch this old reaction today because i felt nostalgic and noticed something funny! When Metal Sonic copies Napalm Man's napalm bomb weapon, Ris says that he wonders if that's a good technique to copy. Fast Forward 4 years to his let's play of Megaman 4 and Ris's least favorite weapon in the game was the napalm bomb, which he found absolutely no use for!

Chronological would be the ideal way to go about it, it'd be nice to see you react to the evolution of Wiz & Boomstick. Although like Max said below in the comments, you could also jump to any new episodes that come out in recent times. Therefore, I suppose your next episode should be the upcoming Starter Pokemon Battle Royale (can't spoil that it will be the next new episode if you already predicted it and if there's previews running around of it, not to mention those mentioning it in the comments). If you're also doing it as two episodes per weekend, I guess Wonder Woman vs Rouge would also be up next. Fortunately, you already did my favorite episode (Rainbow Dash vs Starscream), so no worries for me! :3 Can't wait for your next reactions and videos.

Fun fact: Eggman's first design is based from President Theodore Roosevelt in pajamas (same thing giving Sonic's personality from President Bill Clinton), while "Albert" W. Wily's mustache and hair looks just like Albert Einstein, and the two mad scientists had a thing in common with their enemies in blue, i.e. Megaman and Sonic.

If you're still wondering about the order, I vote chronologically. Although, just if you're concerned about newer episodes spoiling their predecessors like the He-Man/Lion-O episode, don't worry about that. Looking at the list of what you haven't posted yet, the only episode that contains spoilers is (name withheld) vs Zitz, so if you decide to do non-chronologically, be sure to watch the TMNT battle royal first.

***** I heard rumor that it was the gen 3 pokemon, but honestly I'm rooting for a grass starter. They never get any love and I think a lot of it has to do with them not being purely offensive. You have to use strategy when using grass, poison, or bug in order to win generally.

Jonathon Spencer Grass-types in general aren't my favorite, but yeah, I agree. They just involve a different playstyle of sorts, and can be devastating when used correctly. As for this Death Battle, though, they've confirmed that it's the third stages of the Kanto starters.

Ris Grestar, I don't know if you have been told, but look to the side panels, at about 18:59 of your vid, it gives a side-analysis of the different troops to what advantages that each had. Wily had an advantage when the Robot masters worked as a team, and that Wily planned ahead, even planting a dummy. Robotnik had a problem with controlling some of his minions and was too focused upon the personal victory. In the pre battle analysis, it did say that Robotnik could overlook something vital.....

The only problem I got with this battle was the different Robotniks and robots being used and molded into one army. Yet, then again I don't know enough about Dr. Wily himself. Other than a few other problems because of that... This was a great episode!

This fight was one my favorites, its in the top 5 for sure. I would say that Wily is in general the better robot builder and commander. Eggman just managed to build one really effective robot and turns out that's all he needed even if he did not come out unscathed his legacy will live on in the horrifying Dino robot terrorizing the world. I vote you start going in chronological order, but jumping ahead whenever a new episode is released. Although that would mean you would not see Peach vs Zelda any time soon and the wait is killing me!

Sly Cooper Actually, Eggman is the original Japanese name for Robotnik. Robotnik from SatAM is almost entirely an American invention, keeping only semblances of Eggman's original appearance (such as the red outfit and the moustache), while having a much darker and far more cunning personality. But the point I would make is this. If it's the Sega Sonic Eggman, Wily wins. If it's SatAM Robotnik, then Julian wins. It's as simple as that.

the main difference between Willy and Eggman is best demonstrated in the Archie comics. Willy has a shred of humanity in that he wants to just outdo Dr. Light, while Eggman is an all-out psychopath, especially in the comics.
