ngl, this episode did such a good job at standing out given all the outside circumstances against it, at least to me. The approach they took really stood out to me, just for the character they put into it. Also the all the funny nes game references automatically make it a good episode regardless 😊

Something that strikes me in this fight is how, in the final exchange between Martian Manhunter and Silver Surfer, they both acknowledge that they have no real reason to fight but need to anyways for reasons they don’t know, with Silver Surfer even commenting that he “may never know why they were made to fight” and that he didn’t want it to end like it did in the first place. I take it as one of the few instances that shows that Wiz and Boomstick did simulate this fight, and that these two were the only combatants in the show thus far that were cosmically aware and enlightened enough to just barely be able to yet not quite recognize that fact, where only fourth wall breakers have been able to before in the shows history.

@@josuelrobles6612 They were making jokes about how every time they talk about how powerful Silver Surfer is, they just say power cosmic, and it reminded me of how whenever people use Ben 10 in a death battle, they list all of his strengths, and then say if all else fails, "Hey, Alien X" which is his most powerful transformation.

the guardians have interfered with the backstories of a LOT of the races in dc, and are responsible for a lot of the setting. for better or worse. often worse...... let's just say it's probably a good thing they started using champions instead of handling things themselves anymore. as for why the surfer's silver, it was apparently an adolecent fantasy of his. the alien uptopia version of wanting to be a superhero when you grew up.

Nice reaction as always. Few things here I wanna get out of the way here. 1. Is there any more progress being made on the S9 Ranking vid? Because we're soon entering the second half of the season, and releasing it too near the end of S10 would be a bit weird, at least to me. 2. When you guys do the reaction vid for Bill vs Discord, can you have the Pre-Analysis music be Weasel Stomping Day by Weird Al? It's the perfect blend of jovial, strange, and morbid that suits these characters' aesthetics.

It’s no where near a lopsided fight. Death battle just didn’t do their research. They left out so much abilities and capabilities that the Martian has . Including being able to use telepathy even with his body being destroyed. What’s funny though is thy they did the same with silver surfer too. Outright lowball all the feats he has barely even touching on his time powers . There’s just so much that death battle failed to even acknowledge. It’s part of why they can’t be regarded as the authority on these things. 🤷🏾‍♂️

@@markcastellanet9672 it actually should’ve . For everything the surfer is with the power cosmic , the Martian is with telepathy. It’s likely not even possible for the surfer to truly kill him due to his telepathy being so OP. Like I think the only ability that the surfer has that could fully negate his telepathy is permanently imprisoning the Martian in his surf board . But literally his telepathy has gone into the source and survived telepathic destruction , and even his body being destroyed . It’s absurd
