That was a great story. It's so good to see you back, with your pal Leonoor as well. Makes for lots of fun together. This is so close to my stamping grounds ,both climbing in Snowdonia and biking thru some great routes. A favorite being the amazing road from Bala on the A4212 to Trawsfynydd. So popular in the summer, the police used to spy on the bikers from helicopters ! Fun establishing when they were at lunch, to let the red mist appear !! I rode a few of these roads 2 weeks before, on my way from Devon to Anglesea. Luckily for me, the weather was warm & sunny, apart from the last day. Some great roads, great views and a few great coffee shops along the way. Must do it again some day I was there for an overnight charity bike ride which happens on the Saturday nearest the longest day, from the west coast to the East for Bikers4Macmillan.

need to come back to the ABR and use it as a base, like many of us do who are not in the UK, nice and central, during the day we get out and about off or on site, mainly off to see the areas and back roads, then fun at night. Loved your talk and even managed to get a selfie with you, Wales has some brilliant greenlanes part of the TET, and Peak and Lake district beautiful all year round, until next time Runa.

Great trip, but you missed the ice cream shop actually on the lake with the visitors carpark. Next time check out the Mach Loop, British, US and visiting forces fast jets come through at just a few hundred feet - amazing photography opportunities.
