Keep plugging away! I would suggest the next Rev you make things more modular… so you can slide things in on sleds, click into place. Maybe make transformer more modular, so you turn it by 33 degrees to make the correct wires for the voltage specified in the order magically appear over the bus bar. Maybe use header pins on the boards, so straight ribbon cables can attach to connectors on case… or use cat 6e / cat 7 rj45 connectors on boards so standard network cables can connect things from boards to connectors on the case (exception of power, of course!) Maybe use a non-steel transformer bracket, maybe a pair of flexible nylon strips with pre-punched holes, or even pipe hanging holed coiled steel, where you can put a piece of shrink wrap around it, and easily tack down the transformer… very off the shelf. The GS 12k I bought & you shipped: 1. ran my 5000 watt electric clothes dryer 2. ran the whole house 3. ran the whole house plus hvac compressor with 130 LRA I may try to do a stress test tonight… running everything including an electric stove, but I think my panel breakers being fed by the 12K will snap before the GS 12K will reach it’s limit.

My GS12kw do over 16000 watts and blew out the 50 Amp breaker and the AWG 6 wire was smoking but the inverter did not shut down by over current .protection Lucky I was home and shut down the inverter manually .

@@dickson4650 - I just completed my stress tests. My GS 12K was able to do over 12,000 watts, popped my undersized A/C & D/C breakers, but the GS 12K was just fine! It is clear I need larger breakers and may build a different strategy for dealing with high current draw appliances like my clothes dryer & stove/oven.

@@DavidHalko The GS12kw transformer is the best and the most quiet of any inverter in the world . I will keep the load under 50 amp since I do not know the load limit of the wire inside the inverter and do not want the AWG 6 wire to catch fire with 16000 watts .

What are the buss bars made out of. If Copper, the should be able to be silver soldered to repair them. If Al, then TIG welding would work.

Hello again, I have a 4000w 12v Powerjack, I had it stored since new for a long time, when I connected it to the battery and turned it on, it turns out that it turns off the battery breaker, when I checked it had mouse poop and urine, the diver board and the mother board had some sides like a white color perhaps because of the urine the motors look excellent, would I solve it by changing those boards?

NOT a good idea . NO room to assemble in a tiny case and too easy to short something .

Nice video. and I expected this is how it will end. there are almost none company that is selling stainless steel cases..There is reason for that.. So yeah I expect you need to reduce prices to get back with profit..so Aluminium that is or normal painted steel case.. Busbars are for sure critical. price of copper is really too much these days..

UPS drop the GS12kw at least 3 feet off the truck on the corner and the extra thick stainless steel save the inverter with no damage . This save at least 400 dollars for not returning to Sean .

Cast aluminum can take more abuse than steel, if it can be inexpensively acquired… has better heat dissipation properties and is lighter.
