White Road Commander turned to a city delivery tractor, with the hand truck on the bumper. Drove for Preston & we used old road units in the city,, what a pain in the ass climbing up & down doing peddle work.

Cabovers rule! 🥰 I really like the looks of the older trucks, especially the cabovers! Much better styling and flare!

I remember some of those companies when i was a o/o in the 80’s. Trash Can, (Trans-con). Cornflakes (CF). All by the wayside now

LOL, well Trash Can and Cornflakes hung in there longer than most of the others. Some shut down as early as 1982. Cornflakes hung in there another 20 years (Trash Can bowed out in 1990)

Yeah, they would beat the crap out of you, but I still love a cabover! Traveled many a mile in one, as a kid. Wouldn't want to drive one every day, but I'd like to restore one for shows

1:49 Is that a Dodge? Never seen one like that. No stacks so I'm guessing it's gas?
