I am a musician and this touched me. After being in the Assemblies of God for 68 years, I am now a Confessional Lutheran. We attend a very small church but the acoustics are amazing. Sometimes I just sit for a minute and listen to the people singing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

One of my favorite sermons at G3 this year. A few pastors and I had just been discussing music in worship a week or so before - a couple of them sitting beside me at the conference. We greatly enjoyed this clearly textual approach. Thanks for sharing!

I've got some repenting to do I'd never thought of Music in this manner in the 30+ years I've been attending Church. I never sing because to be truthful like most people in my Church I cannot carry a tune in a towsack!! Yes the singing is that bad physically but I have no doubts the Singing choir is doing it for the right reasons.

Just had a conference on the Sufficiency of Scripture and now Tim an integrationist? Need to choose sides. Also, SL was just at the SoS Conf as a speaker, yet he holds to the same integrative view as Ligonier (RC) & Co.
