I used to say that I was nothing but the medium of exchange between my paper and brush. This takes the notion to a level everyone should love because an observer of an art work always does his own creation between the eyes and the art. It’s why they love it, because they create too in the process. Great stuff.

I’ve just dove into the abstract world after painting bordering on hyper realistic for years. It just stopped feeding my soul. This was a perfect foray into this new mystical and magical world. Thank you, Denise, for sharing your immense talents. I happen to have a fude pen, but never really knew what to do with it. Well, I sure do now! 😜

That`s so very beautiful, thank you for sharing this technique and commenting so well on every step and stage! The technique in a beautiful way tansports that light and airy feeling when walking through such a landscape, maybe in late spring or at end of summer. I am looking for a technique that would fit a cover of a novel, half of it italian renaissance setting, mostly in the country. Well, that would fit nicely, what an inspíration, and, as you say: There`s not much you can do so very wrong, just try out and play with it! 😀

Very nice work Denise. This is my idea of what art aught to be, not merely illustration but where spontaneity and improvisation are the driving force.

Another brilliant video! And your brain isn't strange, it is beautifully creative! Thanks for providing a wonderfully fun way to get "unstuck!" I just purchased a fude nibbed fountain pen and am going to now go and paint the Dog Rose watercolor from your video using my Pebeo Mirror Effect Leaves and Mixation Relief! Sincere thanks for getting this artist going again after a couple of weeks utterly "stuck!" xxx

Love this video. I see the pen needs cartridges. What sort of ink do you use! Is it the waterproof kind?
@artydenise11 ай бұрын
This pen needs cartridges. I use quink ink which is not waterproof. I live it when it washes out a bit too.
@artydenise11 ай бұрын
I have also now got this version of the pen which is refillable. amzn.to/3tRazO5

@artydenise Жыл бұрын
The pen is a fountain pen. I am using black quink. The unusual part is the nib which is a Fude nib. You can get them on Amazon. Have fun playing.
