This is one of my favorite BB's tunes and you did an AMAZING job!! What I love the most is that you didn't replace the words "Her" and "She" with Him" and He" like some artists do when singing covers sung originally by someone of the opposite sex.

The first time I heard this was with Carls lead on the In Concert album and it has been the preferred performance of the song, I have listen to your and the Wild Honey version many time but tonight, was the first time while listening to you, that I realsed that the vocals tag to the song was meant to sound like the wind blowing, how did I miss that! Thank you for your versions of The Beach Boys songs they remind me to go back to some of their songs that started a love for their music. Thank You.

Beautiful. One of my favorite Beach Boys song. It is a little fast but i do appreciate what you brought to the song. Still very heartfelt, that's the only way to approach this song and you nailed that aspect. Vocals are on key and on point.

kaylawilliamsmusic Tough is right. I think you've got the voice to belt the verses - they are NOT easy to pull off, range or timing wise - and the ear for the harmonies. I think the choruses could have more of the vibe of the 'Bicycle Rider' sections of 'Do you like Worms' rather than the droney organ kind of feel the original 'Heroes' single had Its a tremendous song which I don't think he ever truly nailed. I've got various in-progress edits I've done with various sections included like 'barnyard' etc but its very hard to get a finished thing because some vocal sections are lost. Hmmm I think I might have geeked out there!

I honestly don't remember if it was harmonies first or lead, sort of depends on how I feel that day. Usually I do a rough lead then turn it down and add harmonies. Thanks for your comments :)

Well, you did a fantastic job of it. It's a very pretty and delicate song. Like most Wild Honey songs, it fits a lot of music into a very short amount of time. I'm glad you didn't change the gender pronouns; I think that was the right choice for this song. I know just enough about music to think this had to be difficult to do, but you really did great!
