The teachings of Thich Nhat Hahn have helped save my life. I am truly grateful to everything the teachings of Plum Village have done for me. Unfortunately, I am subjected to an environment, corporations, and governments that just do what they want to do. I try my best to help the world where I can, but it comes back as no purpose. I'm not sure why there is a reason to be on this Earth.

You are largely reflecting my feelings too... Maybe it helps to know that you are not alone. I didn't even want to watch this video when I first saw it. Now I'm going to after all. When you get energy-draining stuff, it's good to have a counterweight for it. Sister true believer (the former BBC politics person) is very refreshing to listen to. She gives hope because she also touches on the realities of our daily lives for those of us who aren't in Plum Village. She connects.
