His kindness emanates through these videos. Even though I have never met this man 'in person' just listening to his words, the liveliness in his dancing, happy eyes, his modesty, humility and steadiness and focus as a teacher has imparted great healing and happiness into my being. Thankful for this man's presence on earth, a true gift.

This is the teacher I love the most and whose message is the most helpful and meaningful to me. It has been a blessing to have these videos. The brothers and sisters mentors and teachers of Thay are wonderful also. This practice has brought so much joy to my life and I have been able to share this in my work with my clients.

I couldn't understand how for months I could be so present and in the now, so joyous and grateful and filled with the wonder and preciousness of life, and then to go through christmas with my family and fall into a deep depression with no seeming way out. I stumbled upon this today and this beautiful human being has reached out to me and affected me deeply. I have stopped running from my pain and fear and sorrow and the past and cried for hours today, just allowing myself to see it, holding myself in tenderness and telling myself that I will look after myself. I am so grateful that this was made available to me on line here today in Australia, so far away. I feel like this video has saved me, shown me what was missing and turned me onto the right path. Profound and deep thanks and gratitude to you Thich. I will practice and with opportunity, I will help those around me as you have helped me. I will be very happy to donate money to Plum Village and your incredibly important endeavours in the service of a peaceful, compassionate and truthful humanity.

I have a somewhat similar story. My negative moods came back an hour ago with a vengeance, even though the last few days I've been doing great. Watching this video, I feel free again. Less and less fear and sadness. Theses video's have done that several times now. I feel this path is the way to go, and I'll continue mediating. As I know your anguish (or at least partially), I'm confident it will do you good too. May you be well and experience the ease of wellbeing!

I must say that I almost lost my patience the first minute watching TNH--but I was glad tostay tuned. What a wonderful man. I've learned so much, and am so thankful for this video. I've battled depression for half of my life, since I was in my early twenties. And recently, I experienced a wave of happiness. But as I watched this video, I learned how to better tune in the present moments. I will try to apply this to my workout routine, because recently, it's been so stale...

I've just begun meditating in the past weeks. (I used to think that meditation was "weird," and naturally had no interest in it). Anyway, I'm now somewhat hooked on it, even though I only experienced being in the center a few times for only a few seconds. Being newly on this spiritual path, I haven't regained my authentic self to let my thoughts know that they're only guests. And in the past two weeks, the seeds of anger and irritation resurface; I fall off my ladder to the divine. I will climb back up through meditation. Like you said, it is the only way to total liberation. Thank you...

It just happened. I'm not sure how. Maybe I was so miserable all these years, and something hit me. Anyway, this happiness is just the beginning. How to sustain it takes some practice. But first, watch or read about this inner world hopefully from a good source (i started out with tnh, then, sadhguru, ohso, and ug). I've learned many things. one of them being that people who express negative emotions suffer a great deal, and so I have compassion towards them instead of responding to them with one of my own. This is a good insight, but it's not something I've discovered on my own. And until you discover things on your own, sustaining happiness will not be at ease. So meditate (i don't do this often). and I am not sure if that has helped me or things just fell into place, but I began seeing things the way they are, naked, not masked by societies, ie, a rose is a rose, not a symbol of love. What I discovered this year is this: everyone counts down the new year as though the earth makes the exact revolution at that very second when we know it's not. And the earth has done this for about 4.5billion times, and to say happy 2015 is silly. I also saw that new year should begin in spring, because that's when trees bud and bloom, a sign of renewal, of beginning. Winter time is sort of dead: some animals hibernate and trees become dormant. I found that lunar new year suits better, because it at least syncs with women's menstrual cycle, a sign of renewal...

here is tip: always be grateful to the tiniest of good things every person did to you, so if you are aware you are angry, try to remember the good they did to you, not the bad, the anger will die down
