my lord god spoke 4 words "let there be light " and a million billion suns and stars where created . and yet familys fleeing a country plagued with violence . walk thousands of miles praying to our father to protect them . yet when they reach our country . we put them in cages take their children away from them putting them behind separate cages and a few died without proper medical treatment we never even kept track of them to be reunited . i know my lord walked with his children all those miles here and was holding those children seeing their tears . if you support this your not following gods word. lord god have mercy on us .

Lovely singing but I do have a query, I have been Led to believe that musical instruments where not allowed in the orthodox church. Could anybody please enlighten me on this subject.

In Ethiopian orthodox church it is strongly forbidden using modern musical instruments rather than that mentioned on the Bible moreover it is not allowed to dress like these women inside the church

We use cymbals and triangles in praise and most choirs use pianos and other instruments - it's not forbidden :) Praising God is always a delight when it happens in awe.

It is prohibited to use musical instruments other than the cymbals and triangle during the official service, which this is not. This is just a really awesome recording of the hymn. And by the way, there are actually priests and deacons who play musical instruments, and I personally am both a deacon in the church and a musician in the orchestra. So there is no conflict between both, but rather both are used for the glory of God! Hope this answers it

Most Orthodox Churches don't use musical instruments around the world during the liturgy and Sacramental offices and prayers except The Coptic Church they use cymbals and triangle in some hymns "I don't know about Ethiopian Church". But modern music instruments can be used in choirs as in this video which also included cymbals and triangle.
