Barney Miller was the best written show ever and the most best cast ever. Max Gail was one of my favorites. We record the shows and watch them daily. I doubt there will ever be another show so well done. What a shame so many cast members have passed, especially the incredible Abe Vigoda and Jack Soo.

I have always loved Max Gail..his character Wojo on Barney Miller was awesome :-) Max played him brilliantly! I always laugh my head off at the BM episode where Wojo arrests some guy for "non committal" when the guy stood by and didn't help during a purse snatching lol. This man is deeply intelligent.

Mr. Gail is a very tuned-in, sharp gentleman. Barney Miller is an excellent comedy series as well.

Around 9:16 Max explains the view of Native Americans (Indians) toward ownership of land. The attitude is more of taking care of the land, resources etc. more than owning the land. Evidence that he is well informed on a wide range of subjects. Intelligence indeed.

Wojo was written as simple. Max always played Wojo as a person that knows right from wrong very well.

Okay, MAYBE I finally have a reason to go on Facebook. BUT seriously, I couldn't remember my own username or whatever they need if my life depended on it. I am NOT a big sharer of my business, I can just call my closest friends and talk to them on the phone or text them anyway.

@@breakfastsurreal5650 I've also heard that the content on Facebook is NOT taken OFF IF it is PROVEN to be all FAKE. A friend of mine was repeating a bunch of non sense to me she read on Facebook, and even when asked directly WHY FAKE content wad NOT being removed, Zuckerburg said that the public can make up their own mind. I say, how can they IF they do NOT know it was PROVEN to be all LIES? Some people will NOT check facts, they will just believe it IF it is their ONLY source of news? It can be anything from Politics to the Coronavirus info. Anyway, it's creepy to share everything about your life to strangers, and even IF you didn't friend a person, they may have friends that YOU do know, and they can access your info by looking at someones phone. NOT that I am so interesting, BUT, I just don't care for it.

How old is Wojo now anyway? I saw him on a "me TV" segment that lasted about 5 seconds, BUT, who knows WHEN it was made?

@@juliegogola4647 precisely!! They can sway elections that way or change public opinion on almost anything! The real catalyst for me was when I had my daughters and was worried about some random pedophile seeing a picture of one of them in a swimsuit or something. There are so many disgusting people on Facebook and criminals that will see you're not at home and take everything you own.

I like him best as "Wojo" on Barney Miller. He is still kinda "cute" even though he is an "old man". I watch the reruns of BM and "Wojo" is cute, so, Max is also cute even though he could be my Grandpappy. He is old and grey BUT, he still has a cute face.
