I think the optimal button for crouch that gets slept on is left alt. Like when are you going to be using your thumb? When you're jumping. When are you never going to be jumping? While you're crouching. If there's ever a came with some crouch + jump mechanic, you can hit space with your thumb joint. Easy.

From what I found, there's 10 Climbable ladders on experimentation. 3 on the ship 1 on the water tower with the data log 1 on the silo by the ship 4 on the wall 1 on the big yellow platform outside. Also, I found out that bell ringing sound that you heard the other day was actually just a sound that comes from being paranoid! Same thing (allegedly) with vents opening, and some other things! Good to know! I'm not too sure how much I'd watch Pokémon. I never got too into it, so I could take it or leave it. Either way, I may still check it out! Thanks to your inspiration, I plan on uploading my first Lethal videos. I've been uploading (not consistently) for awhile, but I think this may actually be a good opportunity to improve my editing and commentary. Thanks for what you've done! This was quite an interesting concept, and I did really enjoy the video! It crazy that you're already so close to 6K lol. You're doing great!

*VIDEO IDEA* A cool video idea is taking the item rolls from this challenge But with a twist. Instead, if you cant afford the item you have the chance to guess what the other person rolled. If correct you get a reroll, if not your teammate gets to try to guess what you rolled. If either one gets it right both get a reroll if desired but if not neither of you get the item. Also another idea is that you roll for your item but you also have to roll to see how much loot you can bring back to the ship. You can bring out as much as you want but you have to choose what to take back for your limit. Rules No less than 4 items but no cap to it.

It’s a tricky ruleset to come up with! I’ve since allowed flashlights as an optional add-on, and assigned all the other items as “required” store items. After more testing, Larry and I found that if the flashlight is your required store item, then you could just do the whole nuzlocke run with it without ever dying, and by the time you die with it the run is pretty much over anyway so there’s no reason to bring anything else So if the flashlight is an addon item, then you’ll be bringing at least TWO store items if you want to bring a flashlight with you. So you not only are required to bring your non-flashlight items, but there’s now a tradeoff when opting to bring a flashlight with you too flashlights just be too OP when left alone lol

Only reason I don’t have a pop filter atm is because the one that came with my mic broke off and I didn’t really have a reason to replace it until now lol. I think a nuzlocke should be if someone dies they die for good. Like if someone steps on a mine they can’t rejoin till the run restarts giving a bigger feeling of fear and loneliness.

How are you supposed to use the stun grenade in this challenge? If you use it, your partner loses their item because the stun grenade is consumed.

Yeah using it means you and your soul link partner will lose your items, so it’s a last resort-type item to use. Losing your item in some cases might be better than losing your run. We’re also not allowing people to just use the spent shell as their item either, since that would be more viable than using some of the heavier store items The stun grenade is the equivalent of a pokemon in a nuzlocke whose sole purpose is to explode or self-destruct in battle!

Slippi coming out during quarantine was one of the highlights of my melee career! Not only was the rollback netcode super sick, but the ability to store and replay vods with minimal storage space?? Fizzi is an absolute legend for creating that 🙏 I got so so much better at melee being able to play whenever and have so much vod review opportunities at my fingertips only unfortunate thing is that it made me stop going to locals, but I was already on my way out of the scene at the time so maybe Slippi helped me hold on for just a bit longer!

@@sheffaustin pre quarantine was the height of my local attendance, so when slippi came out i was psyched too. definitely leveled up hella because of the reasons you mentioned as well. endless friendlies and vid review made it so much easier. I’m also pretty much done, but i still pick it up here and there to reminisce. Always happy to see a fellow fan, even with the communities lows, melee and it’s community has such a warm place in my heart.

I used to play it quite a bit! Have around 300ish hours in the game and have hit rank 1 as both survivor and killer prior to the latest grading change. I have the most fun playing custom games and trying out fun builds with and against my friends so if I ever get a group together for that I’d go back

Here are some ironman challenge variations: 77%: you have to go to the company building every 2 moons and the final quota for titan will be much larger. Max Ironman: You have to have a full bestiary and all data chips by the end of the run which is hard because of the Rend datachips + the Titan datachip which requires a Jetpack
