honestly flooded moons are my favorite visually. i like how dynamic they are. it also puts a sense of urgency when you’re looting. i hope we get more weather effects that are as gameplay changing like eclipsed & flooded. the other 3 are more so annoyances rather than game changers.

I wonder if windy weather could be a thing, like dust storms to make it more difficult to hear / see your teammates, but it *also* effects enemies so it is a double edged sword. There could even be a rare chance for a tornado to appear like an entity that wanders around, throwing around players and picking up loot until they eventually disappear, letting you steal the loot back. It could even be like a freakier version of the snare flea where you can get caught in a tornado and only be teleported out until you die. Edit : Another idea. Rock slides of sorts for rainy moons like the canyon map on Assurance, so you have to watch out for rocks blocking your path where you have once traveled previously.

In update 47, the jumping on the vow bridge method was patched out of the game, and was demonstrated by the same person who showed that it previously worked. In that video it also showed that the heaviest you could consistently cross the bridge with was 104 pounds.

I’m glad you like the videos and support the vision! It’s ballsy yeah but it’s also not even the greatest risk I’ve taken in my life so it’s not too bad. I can actually support myself quite nicely with the channel’s current numbers, which I didn’t think was possible until I actually got here (would have tried a LOT harder in the past if I knew the barrier was as low as it is 😅) and yes, Vivy’s one of my favorite anime! I usually check out shows where the anime IS the source material since those ones tend to make better use of the medium than ones that are adapted from another source

quick tip with the bridge! in version 47/49, the hitbox wad extended upwards so jumping doesn't regen health anymore. the optimal strategy is to enter the bridge with max sprint, and run across, as long as you're below 105 lbs. great video btw!

I was hoping you would play an all flooded especially to try out that dine jump! For some insight, you want to start at the right most part of that hill before the fire exit. I'm not sure if going from the middle is possible but it doesn't seem like it is. You want to start with FULL stamina, walk up partially until you can't go up anymore (this doesn't use stamina) and point your camera a little right to the fire exit and just keep spamming jump. It gets easier the more you practice! You can also still live and go to the main entrance when flooded, you just go straight from the ship front instead of going to the lamps and you won't die. It's a shortcut for regular weather as well. Also, as another commenter said, rend is possible when flooded if you go around the mountain as well. Sorry for the long comment but I've been loving your videos and I can't wait to see what you do with your channel moving forward!! Good luck!!

Using the dine shortcut to the main entrance, you will be submerged into the water but from my experience if you just keep moving forward you won't drown.

40:46 I'm pretty certain it would not have been faster. The weight to movement speed+stamina loss ratio is perfectly linear as far as I know. There is only one heavy drop off point and it's at very low weight. So past that very early point, any additional weight is just a linear decrease to your speed, meaning that splitting it into two inventories, you would've gotten that early cut off point twice and would've likely been a lot slower even.

Dine does, but Rend and Titan don’t! Rend only gets Stormy and Eclipsed weather, and Titan gets the same plus Foggy too Rend is unfortunately unplayable flooded since both entrances start off submerged, but I’m glad we didn’t just immediately die on Titan like we thought lol

You actually can enter Fire Exit on Flooded Vow. The only downside is you have to leave through main because obviously you won't survive the trip back from Fire Exit.

@@sheffaustin there isn't a way to pull off that first part, at least not yet however you can use a combination of these three mods: Lockout, Mimics, and IsThisTheWayICame with the right config, entering fire exits will teleport you to a random mimic (fake exit), and Lockout is used to disable the main entrance thats probably the closest thing you can get

this is probably extremely random but do you think it would be possible for me to get in touch with your friend nico and ask him to make a very small mod for me? i plan on doing a run where every moon is affected by weather (+ some other added difficulty), but i cant seem to find any mod about it online, and your friend is the only person i know of who has an ability to make mods for the game. if not thats perfectly fine but it would be a huge help since its the only thing preventing me from doing the run ive set out to do.

that’s what we learned from doing this run! flooded’s pretty easy and safe apparently, but not enough people go to flooded moons to learn that (ourselves included until this run)
