I owned both and the finish on the DD is way better then Oracle. Plus one of my Oracle markers failed after 3 months. DD is by far the better product.

Have the Oracle's, very satisfied. Actually like that they're less tinted that Diode plus Oracle runs with Dark orange up front vs. Diode's yellow..

Oracle can be ordered totally tinted or painted on WestCoastCorvette or even cleared.

I would say the slight white of the Oracle kind of brings it into par with the dark tail lights & 3rd brake light look.

Just picked up my 2019 SS in Riverside Blue. I like the oracle lights when lit up, but like diode dynamics design better. Gotta go with Diode dynamics. Needs em blacked out.

I ordered the Diode Dynamics. The selling point for me was the way the reflective material went all the way up to the LEDs. I liked the looks and the fact you had more reflective area. While I did prefer the more orange color of the Oracle lights, it wasn't enough to sway me from the finish of the Diode Dynamics.

After seeing this review, i'm glad I went with Diode Dynamics. Not sure I would like the look of those divots in the Oracles. It's worth mentioning the DD in clear are a bit brighter.

As someone that is very OCD especially when it comes to my SS. Based off of your review, I like the orange of the Oracle. However, I prefer the finish and how dark the DD ones are comparatively. This is a toss up, but given my nature i would probably go with DD for overall aesthetically pleasing look. Excellent review Matt per usual especially with providing unbiased opinion.

I've been getting ready to get DD side markers and am glad to see your terrific video. I have to admit that I wish the front DD markers were orange and not yellow in appearance. However, I will still go with DD. By any chance has anyone heard anything about DD maybe working on fixing this issue?

Oracle looks more "true to life" with colors and the look seems to match the GM black/clear tail lights and 3rd brake light so that'll be the ones I go with to finish off my exterior

If I get a PPF to protect my paint, I’m assuming they will cover those lights with film, correct? So I’ll need to change those before I get the PPF done? Or do they cut the film around those lights? Thx in advance!

The dimples at the end of the lenses on the Oracles are just terrible. I went the the DD just for that reason alone.

I have the updated tinted oracle side markers, black like shown, except the tint covers the entire side markers and leaves the LED strip visible leaving no "non-tinted" space. I like oracle better just because I can see the LEDs more clearly. I was worried that I made the wrong decision since oracle is more expensive and that Diode looks exactly the same but that is false.

Sadly my Oracle side markers already have several burned out LED's on one marker. I am sending the one back to them for RMA. They worked for 2 months fine.

Jeeper D I'm 6' 3 and fit well, on occasion I may have to bend forward to see a light but you get used to it... I'm sure you will fit okay but go check it out and sit in one at a dealer. I think lethal is pretty tall and tall guy car reviews is 6' 10" and did a review where he talks about how he fits so you may want to check that out too

The Oracle bulbs look uneven, and cheaply made. Yes they’re brighter but the diode lights look more fancier.

My OPINION is making them stand out with tint or clear doesn't look good, again just me. I think it draws attention to a part of the exterior that should not be the focal point. The car looks much cleaner when they blend in. If it was left to pure design, these lights wouldn't exist. . Oracle makes paint matched versions with ghost paint over the lighting, so if that's what you like then you only have 1 choice. It's a shame DD didn't offer the same because they look really good as well. I thinks it's cool people have the a choice though so they can get what they like.

At least on the Challenger, the Oracle version is very poor quality. I've had one fail on me after only a month. We'll see if they honor their warranty.

The Diode Dynamics have DOT numbers on them now so I can prove they are legal. The one Matt is holding has numbers on it. I assume all of them do?

i just noticed on lethals that the one he is holding has DOT numbers on it. That was the deciding factor for me to buy. If they dont have numbers on them there is no way for you to prove to a officer that they are legal. I dont have a set. also the lethal5 code is not working because they are doing free shipping

I ordered the Oracle side markers when they were first released. First 4 I received were full of "divets", and had to be returned. It took FOUR shipments for them to get it right! No apologies from them, and very costly for me to ship and return these. Their Customer Service is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. I will NEVER purchase anything from Oracle again. EVER. To do it over again, Diode Dynamics all the way!
