It was really useful doing the swatches, as they gave me a feel for mosaic crochet which I've never tried before. Can't wait to get started on this, as soon as I've chosen and bought my yarn

Well I went out and bought all 7 available colours of Stylecraft Recreate (recycled yarn, lovely feel and with some wool content). Haven’t worked out yet quite how to adapt the colours, but I think it’s going to be fun!

You will be fine - mosaic crochet is much easier than it looks, I promise. There are yarn packs for each of the three colour ways, but you will need to purchase the pattern separately. I've started part 1 today, its my first time doing mosaic crochet. I did both of the swatches, but I'm on row 13 of the cal and my project is curling. Mostly the bottom right and the top left of my project. Do you think the boarder will fix it?

Why do you change from inset to overlay mosaic and not do the while thing in one or the other can this be done ie all in inset masaic and not alternating ?

I like both methods, so I thought it would be interesting to combine them into a single project. You could quite easily do it all in OVERLAY mosaic, although that does squash the design, and you would need to adjust the stitch count on your border. It is much harder to convert overlay to inset though x

The pattern on Ravelry / Etsy includes a chart and full written instructions for every row. The video would be far too long if I took you through every row, but it should get you started.

There is only a little music at the beginning and end ...
