I also didn't have a great track record romantically. Only two girls ever noticed me, and even they, like most of the guys, only took me out on one date, if anything. There was one guy who took me out on two dates, and I thought he might be the right type of guy for me. He was sweet and employed as a school psychologist. He'd even been working with a girl with Autism. I have Autism and Bipolar Disorder, so I thought, if anyone was going to get me, it was him. However, there was no third date. So dating literally is practicing a committed relationship. Everyone is a "practice boy or girl". Dating is the time to learn how to have a healthy relationship with people they are attracted to. Then they just keep practicing until they meet a right person. It doesn't help though that "dating" these days is mostly reduced to instant messaging. The whole going on dates with people to get to know them is an important part. Sadly now it's "you go on dates to show you are committed" rather than finding out what people are actually like before making a commitment.

I only just found your channel, Rebecca, and the funny thing is, aside from the gf fairy thing, I had trouble keeping girlfriends too but for separate reasons. My first one was when I was a wee boy, she liked me and I liked her, she even invited me to go to the movies with her once over Facebook. Sad thing is I was so stupid and addicted to video games I ended up forgetting about it and unintentionally making her think I ditched her without notice. Years later when I turned 20 I called her to catch up with her, I didn't expect this but she was actually very happy to hear from me, I wasn't intending to hook back up with her however because she's all the way up in Minnesota, my home state, and my parents and I had moved down to Nevada a couple years before. She was happily in a relationship with a guy and I told her I couldn't be happier for her. That was gf #1 My second one I was with was my 6th grade sweetheart, a short little thing from Arkansas with a nice figure and lovable tomboyish attitude about things. I dated her for a while and we'd go to each other's houses on occasion to play video games and generally have a good time. One day we went to the lake in the town I lived in called Virginia, MN, we talked a bit, and then we kissed. This was my first kiss, and also apparently the most forgettable one because it wasn't until I was at the same age listed above that my parents reminded me that I did, and I was dumbfounded because I couldn't believe that I forgot that. I literally have NO memory of even going to the lake nor kissing her and it still urks me to this day. But it's fine because I learned later on that APPARENTLY, she was dated around TEN OTHER GUYS at the time. This made me feel a bit awkward and I couldn't help but be glad I got away from her. I even learned she got with one of them, had a kid, and even contracted something from him. That was wonderful. My third one turned out to be a total anime nerd girl which felt right up my alley especially since I can do a pretty good impression of Alucard from Hellsing Ultimate Abridged. We made out numerous times until one day I caught her crying with a friend of hers standing next to her angrily glaring at me. The friend told me she apparently caught wind that I was telling people what we were doing. I did no such thing and I told them that, but she wasn't convinced. I just said to hell with it and let her go. Three years later I'm 26, straight male, and ended up getting found by a woman that actually loves me for who I am, and I couldn't be happier. So, I know this video was from 5 years ago, but I hope the best for you Rebecca, you'll find him, I know you will. There's always a person out there for someone. ❤
