Let’s Be Creatively Connected is an award winning and innovative intergenerational arts initiative developed and delivered by The Hollins Let’s Be Foundation.
In this series of the Let’s Be Creatively Connected Project, our young volunteers have worked in collaboration with artist Zara Saghir and residents from Friar Court Sheltered Housing, Community Solutions Northwest and Woodlands Care Home for the Elderly.
Participants also collaborated with Accrington Camera Club and Lancashire Archives to produce a range of photographs inspired by intergenerational connections.
The project explores the concept of ‘Something Old - Something New’, looking through generational shifts in culture, style, technology and social norms.
