"And i will show you the path you should walk, i will set my loving eye on you" Psalms 32:8 Don't worry, he will teach you, it's not your job to understand, it's his job to counsel and comfort you. We don't deserve him, we did nothing for him yet he gave it all for us at the cross, and that's God's grace and biggest expression of love.. Jesus at the cross. He already saved you, wether you believe it or not, he already did the work because he loves you and wants you to him and with him for eternity. "Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you; before you were born, I sanctified you; and I ordained you a prophet to the nations." Jeremiah 1:5 So, it's your choice if you want to know him more through the bible! And, it's not a *must* it's a *want*. I read the bible because i *want* to know him, i don't read the bible to be saved.. but because i Am saved by grace through faith. ❤It's all about love. Just let him teach you, whatever you struggle with, tell him, he's a friend, not an uninterested God asking you to have faith of prophets and saints and perfection.. He's just asking for You. He'll teach you and give you understanding by the Holy Spirit: "But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you." John 14:26 "Then Jesus cried out, “Whoever believes in me does not believe in me only, but in the one who sent me. 45 The one who looks at me is seeing the one who sent me. 46 I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness." John 12:44-46 He loves you❤ And although you may not even understand what i'm talking about.. that's why you need the Holy Spirit, you can simply pray: "Holy spirit, help me to understand" or pray to God: "Lord, i don't understand who is the Holy Spirit, i don't know much, please help me" whatever comes out from you.. it doesn't matters, he listens. And you'll see the wonderful work of God. He is good, just getting to know him will teach you a lot. i recommend you starting the bible from the New Testament, starting with the 4 gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. I began in John, but you may start at Matthew, as long as you get to know Jesus firstm as the Old Testament is more of history and God's power, wrath and the law, the New Testament talks about God's grace, love, life, mercy and goodness through Jesus. Jesus loves you❤

I feel like what would help you is a different perspective! Since being a Christian is a lifestyle, you could make God your main focus. Instead of trying to fit in God here and there, make Him your everything and fit in all the other tasks. So basically working not just around God but with God. He makes His dwelling place within us. If you only talk to Him when at your desk reading your Bible, that's not relationship but religion. More of a checklist than anything. God longs for the moment that you offer Him yourself. As you do you assignments,He wants to talk with you. As you do the dishes, do your hair, watch t.v.Let me introduce you to switching R's; From Religion to Relationship! Serving God is a lifestyle. We cannot read our Bible for 30 min in the morning, and go the ENTIRE day without acknowledging God. That's not a healthy relationship. You must include God in all that you do. Even if you don't read the Bible for a day, you still walk and talk with the Lord! That's the beautiful thing about Relationship with the Lord, His dwelling place is within us. Not just at our desk when reading our Bible. We must stop limiting Him within our lives, He wants to be your everything. So here are some tips! I first suggest praying to the Holy Spirit for a hunger for the Word, and for you to notice all the invitations He gives us throughout our day! We must become still, and hear His voice, let Him lead us. 1st tip: start praying every morning you wake up! It helps sm and it helps you to recognize that God should be your focus! 2nd tip: Talk to God throughout your day! It says in Psalms 23 that His sheep know His voice. Expect to hear Him when you talk to Him. Don't just talk to Him and leave, talk to Him and then let Him speak. But of course don't forget to be mindful of what you allow yourself to hear and see. Because your heart can then become dull, making your Heart less sensitive to God! 3rd tip: Scriptures!!! Write them down and put them everywhere. Your mirror, in your school textbooks, set a new phone wallpaper, change your playlist, room decor. Basically surrounding yourself with nothing but the Word. If you don't want to fulfill the list of the flesh, you walk in the Spirit. Chase after the Spirit, and the flesh will be denied out of neglect! God gives you soooo many invitations throughout ur day hoping you'll notice Him. He longs for the point in your relationship where you offer Him yourself. His love for us is so deep. We often forget to become still and remember who the Source is. We become fixated on taking the Word and running with it, but we forget to go to the one who sent it. Take time throughout ur day to recognize the invitations God gives you. Ex: The flowers, plants, sun He created for you. When you see people laughing, He created them to be able to feel. When you see the dishes you don't wanna wash, He gave you arms and hands to be able to do it. Being grateful that we have dishes to wash. In the food we consume, cause He didn't want us to go without. For the clothes on your back, He so dearly clothed you with. When you see birds in the sky, be reminded of How much He loves you. For the birds neither reap nor sor, but He still cares for them. How much more will He for you? Or when go to lay in your bed at the end of the day, He is your protector watching over you, giving you sweet sleep. Or when your anxious about something, He leaves Himself with you, because it hurts Him to see you Hurt. God is so Good to us. If only we could grasp his vast love, how deep, how wide, how long He adores us. We must allow our Hearts to become tender for Jesus.
