This is a great journal insert, but I think you might need to check your measurements. I made this precisely to the ones given and had to make some adjustments. It looks like maybe the measurements for the base are the finished dimensions instead of the actual size that needs to be cut. At any rate, I worked it out and it came out great. It's not the same size as yours, but I was just making a sample out of scrap paper for my technique book so it didn't matter. Again, I love the idea and will most certainly include this insert in my journals. Hope you get the measurements worked out. Thanks for sharing. ~ Lisa
