Your teaching background certainly gives this video coherence and increased value. PM Studio is fun for the easy interplay of comments betwixt P & M. If you were to do a collaboration, I would be a definite viewer. The Chicago trip is likely to be a shot in the arm for you and thus for your viewers. Full speed ahead. P.S. Ceri: this accordion book reminds me of small Japanese screens that are used for decorations. The Japanese screens are slimmer, but it is the same concept. Really love this creative project. It’s so colorful. Carol from California

I started watching this when it first came out... it has taken me two days. I am so sorry, it has been a nutty weekend. I love love your accordion and you have really done a most wonderful job on it. Big Hugs and looking forward to the Zutter spiral-bound book!💖 I usually use my Bearly Art Glue / PVA mix. but the glue stick is definitely a good way to go as well. You are so kind thank you for all the love and yes you got the Makers of Mixed Media Art/Artist right.

Now you have given me a great way to use them. I have seen these accordion books before, but I had no idea how to make them. Thanks for a new project. Hey Ceri! I love how this came together! The black is such a compliment to the colors of your gelli prints. I have made similar before including one I made using subway sandwich bag that I folded accordion style after covering it with gesso and adding a bit of color. That was long before I had a gelli plate... now I'm thinking how fun it would be to try printing on a long bag using the gelli method. Maybe you can beat me to it😉❤

I just made a small accordion book today, linking 4 tags together. I haven’t tried book binding tape yet. My tags had a mixed media background with some Victorian scrap focal images glued on them. Love the idea of a black base to highlight gelli prints!

Ceri, I love the concertina book! I was thrilled when you switched the purple and blue around on the top row and love the darker blue on the bottom! This turned out beautifully! I may have to try a concertina book. I like how it can stand up, a beautiful way to put pictures up of our 3 grandchildren. Thank you for sharing the challenges your OCD brings to your artistry. Shirley there are so many clever things you can do with a Gelli plate, but make sure you watch a lot of different videos before have a go as a gel plate can be an expensive investment.

I think you could do the same with strips of thin fabric glued into place with a fabric glue, it would add another visual element to the project.

Yeah I got a little frustrated at one stage as I couldn’t make order of the colours and then just had to let go….way my mind works.
