I'm curious why you swapped (using SNES button names) A and X, when the SNES had X and Y different colors. I think that's the only thing I really dislike about this mod. The black/white is a really cool contrast otherwise.

This looks really amazing, but probably not amazing enough for me to buy another pocket. If I were to do it then I would've went with same color backing with middle piece changed out and the face buttons would have the same color across A/B and the same color across X/Y since the A/Y, B/X scheme just look strange to me.

why didnt you make the bottom/right (A/B) the white colours? the X/Y arent native to GameBoy so keeping them the same as the shell would make them blend in a nice and minimalistic way. i can see that you did that to the AP button (which also isnt native to GameBoy) and not only would it add to the design, the SNES button layout you mentioned separates the two tones by A/B and X/Y. i highly recommend you open them up again and fix this.

Is that analogue pocket case any good???? Is it just so it doesn’t get dirty?? There’s no padding at all so I wouldn’t use it for travel
