And OF COURSE the last level throws you straight into Happy Hour! Wario Land 4 anyone? The interjections from Editing Ian about the pauses are fun to see. Thank you again for all your hard work here, Editing Ian! When Casey went "Ian, I think this game has religious allegory" in that tone of voice, I had to pause the video I was laughing so hard. Thank you =) I absolutely love these kinds of "game in review" levels that briefly run through all the mechanics in brief-but-challenging segments. It feels like the reasonable choice here would be to restart the level and get the second secret pre-checkpoint, but Ian isn't known for being reasonable. That was a rush just watching! Great job!

HERE'S THE BIG ONE. Hell Manor is my favorite level. Nothing I love more than a game testing you on everything you've learned and raking you through the coals while it's at it.

Seriously, screw the section where you have to hop on crates in order to get the cassette tape, I had to repeat the stage so many times to get it right. I also basically collected everything else separately just so I could dedicate as much time to that section in one go. I get that it's the final level and it should be challenging, but I definitely don't "feel like a God" the way Tony Grayson, the game's director, apparently does when clearing a brutal challenge. If anything, I feel a sense of relief that I don't have to do that again. ...Despite that, thought, much like War from Pizza Tower, I do really like the final level is one big escape sequence, as a homage to Wario Land 4's final level, the Golden Passage. I also like how it's got a good mix of all the previous levels enemies, transformations, and gimmicks, a kind of "final example" of the game's various mechanics, if you will. It ultimately feels very appropriate, especially for a game like this one.

You can get par time really easy with that trick, slingshot form a an enemy and then bounce once you should get it once in a while

gee, it would sure be strange if getting the spray paint collectible needed you to antonic-blast into the ground to turn the pippo enemies a different colour so they're not explosive anymore (a mechanic the game never taught you)...

@@par_trapzoid that sth the game does sometimes like the slide dashing into objects to change their trajectory from a normal attack. Idk how to feel about them cuz it's usually just a do everything you think might work untill it does Or just hear it from someone else.

Ahh the infamous Hell manor, for me in one side it is an amazing conclusion to the game having that vibe of "storming in the big boss' base throwing everything he has at you" kinda the opposite of WAR were there it was "Peppino against the world" here is "The world against Anton" crazy hard crazy fun MINUS that second secret, I don't really know why they went for that spike in difficulty ON TOP an already difficult time-short level ON TOP of no checkpoint after, for me at least that got to the point of simply unfun and bordering unfair and that's not even talking about Cracking it (I guess like Ian pointed out showing its Crash inspirations) I'm not trying to be overly critical but I just think stuff like that isn't fun specially when it sticks out compared to the rest of the game's difficulty and I'm SO Surprised you actually managed to get it so fast first and I'm so curious what you think of it. Also about the green Pippos, if you slam around them they turn red.

For some reason it only happened the first time you failed the box jump secret section (15:28), but the little devil baby going "Maybe you would have done better if you were wearing jorts" made me absolutely lose it. Also hellooooo from hollow knight fans!

After the kind comments of the first video, I wanted to try a bit harder this time! I replayed this level (And a bit of the hub too) to get different pieces of audio so I can use it in the video, like the "It's Happy Hour" at the start of the level, the exit door transforming alongside punching to escape, and the robot section was easy to impose as well, since I basically just held left and blasted. It was fun trying to piece things together, and I hope they made the video a bit more fun for it!
