Regarding the "being invulnerable, but the boss attacked twice" from the last part, after Vivian uses her Veil move, she has to skip her next turn. If Mario used an action on the same turn Veil was used, then his turn will also be skipped when Veil ends.

Poshley Heights has some of the game's best music. The main area theme is a bop, the hotel theme makes me think of Charlie Brown, and the Sanctum theme is otherworldly. The last one is definitely by the lead composer, based on his other soundtracks.

I am mixed between wanting a new Paper Mario and M&L game. I enjoyed PM64, TTYD is one of my favorite games ever, Super PM has one of my favorite stories in gaming, and I see the potential for greatness that Origami King set up. On the other hand Sticker Star and Color Splash are some of the worst games I've ever played. I always enjoy the Mario & Luigi series but the games have a lot of slow moments too. If it was a PM64/TTYD style sequel I would want that more than most other games but if it was an Origami King style sequel I'd probably prefer M&L. (Also I didn't really care for SMRPG when I played it after the remake was released. I think I may have gone in with too high of expectations after years of hearing about it.) TLDR: M&L is consistent quality but the highs of the PM series are some of the best the RPG genre has to offer. Ms Mowz was talking about the coin that you didn't grab when she said you were right next to it. I didn't even think about using the shadow to line it up so I just jumped wildly until I got it after a half hour of attempts.
