Love regular bake off, it's like a cozy warm hug - but I echo others, I think you'd love the celebrity/comedy special episodes, they usually contain hilarious results!

I love this show--the contestants are all so supportive of each other! ☺ And more often than not, I end up hungry by the end! 😆 Something else you might enjoy is a Food Network show called Chopped. There are three rounds: appetizer, entree and dessert. Four contestants, and each get the same ingredients, some of which can be pretty bizarre! (Husband describes it as a combination of whimsy and sadism! 🤣) Each round, one contestant is eliminated by the judges. It's a lot of fun watching them try to figure out what to do with the ingredients...!

since you're doing taskmaster anyway, try getting your hands on some of the Celebrity Bake off Episodes aka "Stand up to cancer celebrity bake off" episodes as you go on with taskmaster. You'll see some familiar faces and as much as I love Mel and Sue, I ADORED Noel and Sandi as Bake Off hosts and imho as an amateur baker, that's when the show REALLY picked up pace in terms of moving firmly into a pro ballpark - that being said, if you want other UK shows to react to: QI, Would I lie to you, 8 out of ten cats does countdown and the classic "the inbetweeners" Keep on doing the good work babes, I'm enjoying this so, SO much!

Celebrity bake off is a lot more fun and silly. A lot of comedians who have been on taskmaster have been on it too. And they’re only on for one episode, so you don’t have to like follow the whole season

I think that's a great concept! Two show I remember watching (and enjoying) in the 2010s were "Face Off", where makeup artists had to create SciFi looking prosthetic makeups, and "The Sing-Off", an a cappella singing competition, where the performances were both technically impressive and so camp (I especially remember liking season 3). Good times!

Reality show that I recommend you react to is "Forged in Fire". Where blacksmiths are put through a series of challenges usually to create knives or weapons of some sort. The competition only goes for one episode. Each episode is an entirely different set of competitors. For some reason it is compelling viewing - especially when the knives are tested to their breaking point. While it is great to see brilliant craftsmen and women, catastrophic failures a good to see as well. I would love to see you react to this as one of your reality shows.

Oh Ink Master is another good one. It’s a tattoo competition and some times they really Jack up the tattoo. Or there’s the American version “How Far is Tattoo Far” or UK version “Just Tattoo of Us” each episode has a pair of friends or family who have each designed a tattoo for the other. The tattoo isn’t revealed to the recipient until the end of the show, keeping them and the viewer in suspense. They are often something awful and they get enraged and want to fight each other.

I’ve only seen clips of the Celebrity bake off and that’s hilarious. There’s a reality show called “Beauty and the Geek” that I used to watch a long time ago. I probably watched the American version but there is an Australian one. There’s 1000 pound sisters, Hoarders, My Strange Addiction, Survivor, Naked and Afraid, Love is Blind, The Voice, American Idol, Americas Got Talent, Hells Kitchen, Queer Eye, The Masked Singer, Shark Tank, Hotel Hell, Is it Cake?, well that’s all I got for now.

This was fun. I'm not much of a fan of reality shows but I love the concept of Bake off and I agree with others that you should maybe give the Celebrity Bake off a try. Maybe a handful episodes based on the guests. I also like Strictly come dancing.

It's a cute show and it's a big deal if Paul shakes their hand as that means he really loved what they made, there was some controversy when the show swapped channels from the BBC to their rival Channel 4, and Mary, Mel and Sue left and were replaced, there are lots of celebrity special episodes too which are great. Another brilliant show which is very similar is 'The Great Pottery Throw Down' which is a similar set up to Bake Off but with pottery, one of the judges is awesome and is so passionate he starts crying every time someone makes something beautiful!

Actually this series included one of the most controversial moments in Bake Off history when Ian had his Baked Alaska sabotaged by Diana, it was brilliant!!! 🤣
