What braid do u recommend for dock shooting with livescope. I shoot 40ft plus long docks an wanta see bait. Occasionally I hook a big blue cat an with 4lb mono. They pull drag an get wrapped up on structure. Looking for more strength an same distance as mono shooting

I don't worry about the shooting of the docks but hooking a big cat would be tough to hang on to. Mono has that stretch and braid doesn't. But regardless If I were to choose one I would go with eh 12LB meteor

Matt, is there a particular braid available that doesn't get wind knots as easily as others? I've tried several and haven't found one yet. Especially using a long jigging pole. I have had a slight improvement by applying bow string wax to the first 20-30 feet of line. It wears off fairly quickly. Thanks

What was the break strength results done the correct way without a knot?

We sent some back to mfg and had tested in lab 11.2-11.8.

If I come in day one on a tournament and tell everyone I caught 15 lb but at the weigh in it showed 11 lb do I get mad at those who are doing the weighing .11 lb is still good just not 15.should I cuss the guy that did the weighing and demand the trophy. Hey sniping braid it is a good 6 lb braid In My opinion by my test which we all know that its well sufficient for catching crappie.

All braids have a weaker knot strength, and all 10lb braids are not really 10lb braids. So your 10lb braid that measure a 13lb knot strength is probably really a 20lb braid with a diameter of .20 at a Min….I can put a rope in a box and call it 10lb braid. It will be stronger then all braids

@@3poundCrappiefishing all the other braids I tested broke more than advertised but again I did test them in a garage. Isn’t that where myth busters started .
