I’m doing a 6 month protective style. Plus i like my hair away in the winter time. So far I’m two months in. I’ve been DYING to wear my hair out lol, but it’s flourishing leaving it alone. I just deep condition in my braids once a week and by the 4 week I wash and redo my braids ! I ALWAYS wear my hair like this when it’s out it’s so flattering to the face 😍🥰

I truly understand a lot of Naturals don't need coconut oil or any protein as much, although the hair does need protein but it doesn't need proteins like relaxed hair now I am relaxed, and I do a protein treatment every 2 months not every month because my hair doesn't need it as much I do use coconut oil but strictly during the summer months and that's basically it and my hair loves it it receives it very well it conditions my hair it also moisturizes my hair leaving my hair really soft for that inclement weather and once October come when I boil turns hard then I go back to my apricot oil and also my Jojoba oil for the fall and winter, you did a great review on this I see this a lot on KZbin a lot of women are using this product and other 10 1213 products at a time and they're still complaining about dry hair I believe if you use one hair care product line with then I want to say 60 days just to give it a chance that it just jumping from product to product the product every week I believe the hair will be fine just have to get used to a certain product, thank you God bless you💞🙏

I think ur protein sensitive because the curl food has protein don’t use it because it will mess your hair up especially when ur hair hasn’t received proper attention for a while because I’ve done that and made it worse also Alikay Naturals lemon grass did that to me as well because of the protein in it if felt good while applying but it got harder after.

I’ve been thinking... maybe I should try the l.o.c. Method with actual liquid like spray leave in. Actual penetrating oil with smaller molecules(argan, jojoba,sweet almond) and then a heavy cream to seal but not a styler. Cause I always thought my styler was my cream but not if it’s not formulated to moisturize.
@teslabae6 жыл бұрын
Since you stated that you hair doesn’t like coconut oil. The fact that you used the whole line which has coconut oil in every product is probably why your is not as soft as it usually is. Use should just continue to use your favorites in moderation.

Actually, I do a Honey Mask and share it on my channel. I sell it. It’s my Ayurveda Curls Deep Conditioning Honey Mask. Honey is not a protein. It is very good for moisture and is a humectant. Coconut oil can affect a person with protein sensitivity especially if you are low porosity. 😊
@e.o.a1016 жыл бұрын
If your hair likes JBCO, then you definitely have High porosity hair.Because I have L.P.H and my hair hates thick oils especially JBCO.
@hellow41306 жыл бұрын
That’s not always accurate. Everyone’s hair is different, regardless of porosity, density or texture (size of strands).
@e.o.a1016 жыл бұрын
@@hellow4130 It's true! low porosity hair hates thick oils....because we're receptive to product build, up, so we need to keep things as light as possible but still be moisturising of course. ☺
@beaubeauknows36206 жыл бұрын
E.O.A i dont think this is necessarily true. I have low to normal porosity but really low density so i do like jbco... idk i feel like it helps my hair look fuller
