If you wanted to mount D rings to a wood box, would you just screw it down on top of the carpeting after carpet is installed?
@SolidWoodWorx3 жыл бұрын
If mounting D-Rings, I would recommend mounting with the sex bolts I sell on my website or some sort of bolts and nut. This way if mount the D rings through the wood less likely for the screw to pull out if it has lot of stress on it

Is that a piano hinge for the door? Will that work on the side of the door to swing out or just the bottom like you did? Any idea what hinge I can use to get the biggest swing like a 180? Thanks man, been studying your work fro my build, getting there

That would be a Blum style hinge

Verticle and horizontal surfaces are fine; but can you do a video on how you would cover a Van's wheel well cover? I think that for some of us who are looking to cover this item, we'd appreciate the information on how to cover a wheel well.

Okay, so you had the best video for this! Thank you! I am covering an entire box (full bed size )in speaker carpet but am still trying to decide how to access the contents and it’s like falling down the old rabbit hole. I want simple but clever. Is that asking too much? I am thinking two access spots on top and a door in the rear. Anyway thanks for the sage advice!

Thanks for the video. How do you mount the drawer front then after it’s carpeted? Do you just screw into through the carpet?
@SolidWoodWorx4 жыл бұрын
This was hinged with a locking latch, but you can pocket hole the side jams and screw in the the front that way!

staples should be continuous along each folded edge.. 3/8" crown staples around 1/4" - 1/2" inch apart.. the thinner the vinyl or carpet the closer the staples..
