This has just started being sold in the UK. I had a look at the background to the company and the ingredients. First red flag for me was it’s not Black owned. That to me means that it may have a lot of cheap harmful ingredients that could have reproductive disruptors. The ingredients list didn’t impress me either. Sulphate free but a whole load of dinethecone, PEG and fragrance. The good ingredients are in very small amounts at the end. I’d rather spend a bit extra and buy products made by Black people, for black people and tried snd tested by black people that wont cause me any long term harm. Sorry

Thank you for your thoughts! I love wakati because it works for my hair and I am loving how the products treat, moisturize and leave my curls bouncy! Some Products works for some and others work better. Find what works for you curly queen!

I received the oil-infused cream and the re-activating conditioning mist as part of a trial but I'm concerned about the dimethicome in the cream. I haven't used a product with silicones for over 5 years and I'm not sure I even wanted to trial it, but your testimony is making me think twice.

I received the collection in a Non-Subscription Curlbox and I've enjoyed the products. I was pleasantly surprised. I recommend the brand. For reference my hair is type 4, kinky curly natural.
