If I remember correctly, the Chinese man says something along the lines of "Wow, free cows! What a country! Giddy-up!" As a side note, it was normal for Swiss people to yodel to get their cows attention. It wouldn't surprise me if Slim either picked that up from people who emigrated from Switzerland or was Swiss himself. There was a scrapped plot where Slim would lead an army of cattle to stampede Washington DC as a Pied Piper figure of sorts.

I always had a soft spot for this movie. The Adventure of the cows going to save thier farm from a cattle rustler was fun and simple, I like the horse and his character arc, the villain was pretty entertaining, the songs are kind of catchy, the action scenes are enjoyable and exciting and some funny moments.

"Home on the range" funny, here in Brazil the movie is basically called "not even if the cow cough", which is basically the portugueze version of the expression not even if pigs could fly

I feel like this is a nice change of pace from what other people say about Home On The Range. I can never understand why this movie is hated and I honestly don’t care what they say about it. I absolutely love this movie! The story is fun, it has some pretty good characters, it has funny humor, and it has an amazing soundtrack. Also, you have no idea how many times I watched it over and over again as a kid. It’s a charming movie and I will always love it. Amazing reaction! I’m so glad there’s other people out there who love this movie.

Sometimes closed captions do the translation for you instead of jist (speaks in foriegn language) so i grew up reading something like "Free cows!? What a country!" And "No wonder they were free 😰." When grace starts singing poorly again lplol

12:20 Actually, In the Home media version, The subtitles actually translate what he says. Apparently, Disney plus forgot his translation. From what I remember, he actually says "Wow. free cows. What a great country". Later I think he says "Now I know why these cows were free". Honestly, Despite owning the movie on DVD, I'm going off memory.

Hi Rukiya, love your reaction channel and the various reaction videos you put up and big congrats on earning the Silver Play Button after getting 120k subscribers. I just want to say that you’re perhaps one of the first if not one of the few reactors out there that has ever reacted to Disney’s _Home on The Range_ considering I don’t see many many reactors such as TimotheeReacts, CLARISS, ANGELINA, Billy Binges, LakiaJaiTV, Stephanie Best, Sophia Phan, White Noise Reacts, etc. reacting to _Home on the Range_ (yet) and frankly I hardly see *ANYONE* talk about or doing a Reaction of this particular Disney film since the majority just react to the one’s everyone is familiar and enjoy watching such as The Disney Renaissance films, the Post-renaissance films that have cult status (e.g. _Atlantis, Treasure Planet, Lilo & Stitch,_ especially the former two), and the Revival era Disney films over the ones that no one likes _(Chicken Little, Home on the Range, Black Cauldron)_ or just not interested in doing (the Disney Package Films from the 1940’s, a few of the Classic Disney films from the 1940’s to the early 1980’s). As for my thoughts I liked the film and consider this a guilty pleasure and while it’s not the strongest Disney animated film in terms of story, I still enjoy it for it’s music by Alan Menken, and the colorful cast of characters with Alameda Slim being a hilarious Disney villain, even the animation and character designs in this film remind me of the Xerox era Disney films released during the 1960’s-1970’s and I can’t help that the designs of the animals especially on the cows and the Dog, Rusty look like they came directly from _101 Dalmatians_ or _The Aristocats._

This was one of my absolute favorite movies as a kid, and I almost love it more as an adult. It's really not anything outstanding in story or animation, but I almost love it more because of that. Also side note: the DVD had a bonus feature of Mrs.Calloway telling the story of the 3 little pigs, and I think I watched that more than the actual movie 😂

I absolutely *LOVE* the caramel and honey colors on Rukiya! This is one of those older Disney movies I’ve never seen and I actually like it even though I know it has mad hate and considered a flop- well from what I saw that Rukiya had in the video. It was a simple cute wholesome movie. Not everything needs to be elaborate or deep with layers.

I swear to god.....when I was 9 and I first saw this movie at my sister's boss's house where my sister's worked (which was actually taking care of her boss's horses at their farm) I thought Wesley was attractive but that's mainly because he cracked me up with the clown college line, was snarky, and he was voiced by my celebrity crush growing up, Steve Buscemi....my heart skipped a beat when I heared him say Casey Jones, because my first name is Casey. Fun fact: The yodeling in the song was not performed by Randy Quaid, who provided the voice of Slim. Two individuals were involved, with one of them handling the lower and higher tones. They had to perfectly timing when the voices entered and when the yodeling entered the various ranges.

Or something close to that. I haven't seen this movie since the early 2000s when it came out. 22:16 - Yancy O'Del. Use the first initial for the first name, and you get "Yodel".

Rukiya, fun fact, the yodel song has two singers/yodeleirs. Is a duet. Another fact there are 2 types of cow. For meat and cow milks. The bulls catcalling the cows is because all know that for cows to give milk, need to have babies. No need to say more
