Also, in Yokohama there is the Ramen Museum (they spell it raumen there), which has a whole nostalgic Showa-era setting with shops, a bar, and, most important, about 10 ramen restaurants in a single space with a rotating selection of ramen of different styles from various parts of Japan.

Hi :) I'm new to your channel and I have to say, your wife is so cute and pretty!!! I was lucky enough to be able to visit Ramen stadium when I visited Fukuoka as well and I completely agree that eating three ramen in one day is difficult hahaha On paper I was so excited and thought it would be easy because I love ramen so much hahaha but I had one bowl, needed to walk around the mall and then had the second bowl and I was completely done for the rest of the day hahaha Thank you for your videos. I watched your video on proper etiquette while dining with other Japanese. Didn't you say that you're suppose to hold your small bowel in the left hand while eating with your right hand and not bending your head down towards the table towards the bowel to eat? Or does that applies to rice bowels only? I am confused.

I love Gyoza. Especially my Gyoza. : ) Why are they served upside down? I have such hard time folding it that I'd be offended if it was served like that.

I know this is an old comment but they're normally served that way to show off the crispiness that comes from the gyoza sticking to the pot it's cooking on, hence the meaning of it's name: "potstickers" I also think it helps with maintaining the crispiness of the bottom side without letting the juices inside soak into it.
