Thank you very much for watching! Our last video about New Year in Japan! We apologize that we have been making the "tea sweet videos" in a row... There are so many celebrations at the end and beginning of the year in Japan😅 We are planning to make more videos related to samurais and other traditional culture soon too, so I hope you can look forward to it!

An interesting fact about the Narcissus flower: in Greek mythology, Narcissus was a young man who fell in love with his own reflection in a lake. He stayed by the lake so long that he died, and the gods transformed him into the flower. So both the flower and the disorder get their name from the man in the story. I think they're beautiful though, and they always make me think of spring

Dandelion and burdock are combined into a popular soft drink here in the UK. The combination of what sounds like two incompatible flavours often produces something unique and delightful

I love that I got to almost the end of the video before I realized I was drinking a cup of matcha myself. Also, I'm curiously impressed by this "Turn the page paper plate" that you were eating from. That is brilliant. I love it. Subtle things you learn about culture. Thank you.

Shogo, I'm glad you feel the same way about burdock... because every time I say this to my Japanese friends or coworkers, they sound like I've disrespected them and their culture.

Gobo in a sweet?! I am intrigued! But the Wakamono also catches my eye, simply because it's similar to my name (kinda, sorta--young vs. baby pine trees). But your reactions with the plum and narcissus sweets make those the winners here. Good luck with all your plans for the channel. And would also love to learn more about the different schools of tea ceremony: Didn't know there are any significant variations! And the ikebana would be a great topic. Oh, and how about a video on the Japanese traditions with o-senko, would love to learn more about Japanese incense. Another great monthly sweets review. Mahalo!

Is burdock like rhubarb? If so then rhubarb is a bitter plant that's used in some old fashioned sweets and pies.

I like “ Let’s ask Shogo” as it’s very interesting and useful. He’s also so cute. I can’t stop myself watching it when I am in my free time. However I am so disappointed and think this video is the worst I have ever seen so far. What I heard is ‘ delicious ‘, every tea sweet is delicious, delicious .....,so rubbish! except this, can you explain more? I want to know how sweet it is? What’s the ingredient, texture.,sweetness.......Not everybody can eat Japanese’s okashi as some of them are really very very sweet. I was so excited to watch it as Japanese tea sweet is very expensive in London and not everybody can afford. But after watching it, I am 😤😒😕 ,
