Ha! I'm a cargo van courier and get routed to the wrong side of a property all the time. This situation is completely avoidable. Rule 1. Don't trust GPS. Rule 2. Don't go where you don't see fresh tracks. Rule 3. Thank anyone who helps you in any way ever.
@truckertom33233 жыл бұрын
Rule number 1, never go anywhere without a Map, a map gives you details of the land, roads, tree lines, rivers, hills, tracks, main roads, side roads and bridges, etc,etc,etc.

Exactly; Not to mention, satellite imaging is your friend when the gps isnt right. Additionally, Every county in the US should have an regularly updated GIS map online that is more accurate than google. In the end, there is really no reason to get that stuck lol

Letsdig18 isn't a good a racist from m all the postings he's made that I have read. I was working on site driving a Triaxle and a dumb blonde drove right up to the front bumper while I was getting loaded then started screaming at me to get out of her way. After I walked up to her car ( high end BMW ) I informed her she was off the road and on a construction site. She told me her gps showed a road here and wanted me out of the way pronto! It cost us 38 minutes until the local cops showed up and told her follow me as your trespassing or else. She started screaming at the officer who stood quietly taking it all in and when she ran out of breath opened her door and forcibly removed her from her car and placed her under arrest. Ever see a dumb blonde walk on 4 inch heels in 8 inches of mud? Hilarious the owner of the construction company was running the loader and after the cop told him three hours to get a tow truck out the told the cop, no problem I'll move it and then proceeded to do just that with a Cat 992. With the cop and the woman watching. Car has just over 900 miles on it. And a few weeks later when she attempted the sue the company the company lawyer simply played the CCTV recording of her driving right past the gates stating no trespassing, all visitors must stop at the office trailer which is well marked. The had to pay the company $ 1200 in lost income getting her vehicle out and her off the job. Car required $7,000 in repairs. I was in court as a witness for the company. It was a good time for us. Next time some idiot does that to your property make him pay you cash to get him out. It only seems fair.

Ha! That sounds a lot like the time I was running a 32 ton excavator up a small dirt drive with trees on both sides, and a couple of women come down the hill in a Lexus, past every pulloff and pull right up in front of me, expecting me to get out of their way. I couldn't even swing around if I wanted to. So there we sat staring at each other, and until I motioned that they need to back up and get out of the way, at which time they begrudgingly did. They always say women are the rational ones. I don't see it.

Lots of these videos are great and represent him as a hard working intelligent man and then he goes and exposes himself as a coward racist knob. I notice he kept his mouth shut to the man when he got out and wasn't out there calling him Pedro and Jose Cuervo to his face and that is what you think is being not pussification. Yet the whole ride over and even after he got back to the safety of his cab he just kept on talking like a real big man. Most people are just noting that this is a nice place to watch videos like this without him showing us that he has a weak, nasty side for anyone that is not white. Other people have pissed him off and they was white and he didn't come up with fifty racial slurs to make his point in those videos. It is not about sensitive and it is not hard, nor does it make you a small man to act like a human being. Ribbing happens amongst friends or colleagues not by yourself in a tractor because you had to actually get off your ass and help someone that made a mistake. Ribbing happens face to face not in a coward way like he showed.

Around here we had a Japanese couple in a sub-compact hatchback follow their GPS 400 metres (or a quarter mile) into the bay at low tide. By the time rescuers arrived on shore, the tide was already over the axles and it was deemed too risky to attempt a recovery until the next low tide. The rental hatchback was a complete write-off and I guess the tourists learned to not always trust a GPS, especially when up to the axles in marine mud.
